    • Sort through a kids wardrobe or drawer, part with what doesn't fit or well past it's used by - school trousers check for all 3

Plan on doing a bit of a shopping trip leaving kids with OH. See you all tomorrow x

Got to agree with Dusty, try kids nurofen (or pharmacy/supermarkets own) for ear ache JillD as long as he's not got asthma etc, you can actually give them both I usually rotate one then the other in the middle same as Dusty said, warm towels over it aswell, helps me no end when I've got one even a hot water bottle to sleep on, bliss! Have you checked inside his ear by the way? We've had several kids near me in the last few weeks end up in A&E because they've ended up with 'things' in their ears, from food to small toy parts like lego. I thought it was only tiddlers who do this but my DS2 did it for the first time at 6 years old with a ciggy end he picked up!

Well apart from the bear pit boys room and dailies tomorrow I have this lot 'planned' but if I get done is another matter

[strike]Make DP a GP appointment at 8am as his ankles swollen up again[/strike]
    Studying 2 hours attempt
Get DP to fit shelves to wall(will see how high pigs are flying)
[STRIKE]Clear rubbish out of car [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]2 loads laundry should empty the basket/piles(seeing as it's forecast to rain all weekend!)[/STRIKE]
Find a bin and washing basket for DSs rooms, sick of gathering laundry/rubbish
[STRIKE]Sort through finances, pay any bills that need paying [/STRIKE]
[strike]Stock list check, check through fridge stocks [/strike]:o just found something 'fuzzy' in there
Meal plans for week, small as possible shopping list!
[STRIKE]An hours reading and writing with the boys [/STRIKE]
Bake something, don't know what yet, with DS2  too busy playing changed his mind
    [STRIKE]Moan for a dishwasher again[/STRIKE]

Right I'm off to bed, goodnight all :)
One day I might be more organised...........

Oh and my bum hurts :( injection didn't hurt when it was done, does now!:o

Ouch  I won't ask for any more information ;)

Michelle - since starting Flying, we all 4 spend 15 - 30 mins an evening doing jobs. I'm in charge :p (of course :D ) and direct operations. It really helps and it's amazing how much we get done. We then relax later.

JillD - hope DS is better soon.

And my MIL removed my *antique dust collection*, without asking, when I was in hospital having DD   . She's never been allowed to forget it

This is what I've done since I was last here:

Compost bin – emptied and cleaned
    Stairs – hovered by DS
    Parcel sent
    Card posted
    Bill paid
Veggie cookbook – bought 2nd hand from Amazon
    School uniform - sorted
    Bread cupboard - cleaned
BM – brown loaf baked overnight
    WM - on
    Yogurt maker - on
Cake – made – to decorate
Shopping list – written – shopping done and put away
    Wedding present – ordered

Off to the pics this evening.

Have a great day, Penny. x

    Morning everyone

Work again for me today, tell you what I went there for a rest yesterday! DS just about drove me mad on Weds, was winding his sis up and she would eventually wind him up in return which wound me up. Se we were all like coiled springs come the end of the day.

Better go get ready, have a good one guys ;)

    Morning everyone,

Well my idea to paste the daily lists onto powerpoint seems to be working for me at the moment, as I can just flick through the slides and see just a small list of things that I have left to do. If I get bored working on one room, I change slides and look at another. I have nearly completed every task so far, and as it is catch up Friday for me, this should be quite a good day, especially if I can convince OH (his day off) to help me on a couple of things. He will be out gardening no doubt soon, so I'd better stop chatting, and find him a few tasks.

    Happy flying everyone.

Morning all :hello: Awake early again as OH woke me up on his way out as the frontdoor wouldn't shut and he ended up slamming it  Not his fault so I'm not going to have a go at him. DD is already up but is playing/reading in her room with her stereo on and some new CDs my mum got her :D I'm only here as I had to eat breakfast ASAP, I woke up starving and realised I didn't have tea last night. Sooo... I'm going to cook a proper meal for all of us tonight, might throw something in the slowcooker, but haven't decided yet. My throat is so much better today that I've managed to eat some toast :j

Right, what do I need to do today?

      • Beds - stripping both today!
      • Dishes

    • Bathroom
      • Sink

OH is away all day tomorrow at a reunion so DD and I are going to have a bit of fun AFTER we've worked our way through her wardrobe ;) We need to do the whole "does this still fit?" for school primarily and sort out which clothes are still too big for her to wear so need to be put away - I've done the majority of it while she was away earlier in the summer - but she always has a growth spurt between September & December so this time I want to be prepared and have the clothes she needs in :rotfl: She's been promised that if she can help me do that then I will let her have her nails painted & her hair straightened or curled or whatever  Could prove interesting. :rotfl::rotfl:

Right, I've just got to check email and then I'm off for an invigorating bath before setting too. Will check in later

Urgh, I failed rather spectacularly yesterday, although we got some cleaning done in the bathroom, and the kitchen sink is starting to look even better now!

    Friday - master bedroom
(other room is worked on every day as we are clearing it out)

    Level One

Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can get to
    Level Two

Anything that isn't in it's place where it should be, clothes, toys, books etc
    Level Three
    Dusting
Strip beds and replace with fresh linen
Vacuum Floor (even if it's just where you can see)
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    Extra Task List

I don't have kids, so this is the only one that is relevant to me:
    • Clean any one (or more) window that needs doing (I have a fair few of these to do!)

Extras: (to do over today and tomorrow, as haven't heard that I'm working tomorrow)

    • Dishwasher (getting there with that)
    • Clean some of the mugs that have built up (that the DW refuses to wash!)
    • Post office (& perhaps bank)
    • Hoover kitchen floor
    • Wipe kitchen surfaces & cooker
    • Air washing
    • Paint bathroom door frame
    • Mail off bill
    • Iron stuff for Ebay
    • Send off Swap Bot swaps
OH has just been returned from work sick, so I don't think I'll get too much done today... I'll try though! Otherwise I'll have a catch up with it tomorrow afternoon as I get soooooo bored on Saturday afternoons!

Ooh, I was just wondering where you can get the weekly list from? Because I can't seem to find it on the Flylady site or the Uk Yahoo group!

    Thanks!
