    good question..

when will TSB be entirely separate, so that we don't need to be concerned?

i have been moving money from Halifax>Halifax with no problems, but can make a point of transferring from Lloyds>outsideLBG>Halifax

I guess I can do something like this:

    TSB>First Direct (outsideLBG)>Halifax

I've recently (over the past fdw months) set up standing orders which are ordered:
Other Bank -> Lloyds -> TSB -> Halifax -> Other bank

Shifting the money around to meet money-in requirements. Got £2-£4 DD's going out from Lloyds and Halifax. I'm genuinely going to use these accounts actively for spending...

    Should I be worried?

Depends if you are a worrier.??
you've nothing to fear, than, fear itself.
just have another a/c outside of the lbg group, as a standby.play safe.

Is all this angst simply caused by funnelling money round Lloyds group? Which means Lloyds can easily identify customers who cost them money unnecessarily?

My money circuit is set up so money never gets transferred from one Lloyds group account to another. And my Halifax account is genuinely active. Does this make me safe from the closures?
I used to go from Lloyds to everywhere else and vice versa, but now I need to transfer more than the £5k in there so that doesn't work. That includes Halifax, TSB and BoS but I've not had issues so far.

It'd be easier to do everything to/from Santander 123 but that will require setting up new recipients at multiple banks, which is effort.

Why don't all you worriers go to your local supermarket and use the self-checkout. Take all of your debit cards and put through one or two items on each card, rather than putting through your whole shop on one card. This will maximise the activity on each of your current accounts. Repeat daily until your symptoms disappear.
