Well if you have exhausted the current a/c merry-go-round then the BOS & TSB pays 2% better than standard savers. Even sacrificing a few points here might at least keep your current a/cs from the reaper whilst regular savers still active.

It was a rhetorical question.
There is nothing that I would loose sleep over (losing) personally .
Clarity is not longer the best overseas card either.Nobody else has a horse on the debit card
But otherwise: Halifax Clarity CC is the best overseas card, Halifax Rewards are good extra income if you don't have savings, free cinema tickets with Lloyds Club, and almost top 0% BT CCs if you already have a Barclaycard.
It's not the end of the world, but it would be annoying. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

fair enough... i guess a small RS to try to ensure a CA continues could be deemed worthwhile. but 2% isn't very exciting, and we remain unsure whether there are going to be widespread closures anyway:think:0 -
...just thinking of closing the stable door before the (black?) horse has bolted...0

I use Clarity for 0% cash withdrawals overseas as a matter of course, paying it off immediately. The exchange rates always seem competitive too compared with other options.
Is there a better card available for ATM cash abroad?0 -
Is all this angst simply caused by funnelling money round Lloyds group? Which means Lloyds can easily identify customers who cost them money unnecessarily?
My money circuit is set up so money never gets transferred from one Lloyds group account to another. And my Halifax account is genuinely active. Does this make me safe from the closures?0
