but the OP knows better
Never posted anything of the sort, I asked a question.0 -
indeed , as I run a couple of intel "nucs" for various jobs (mainly xbmc) the latest i3 nuc has the smaller version of the hdmi skt so I am forced to use http://www.scan.co.uk/products/scan-hdmi-mini-adaptor-hdmi-(female)-to-hdmi-mini-(male) , which is the reverse of what you need.
now the "nucs" with there fancy efei bios cannot be accessed via a HDMI on your TV , so in order to set them up I had to buy http://cpc.farnell.com/startech/hd2vgae2/adapter-hdmi-vga-1920x1080/dp/CS28575?MER=e-bb45-00001002
which allows a hdmi signal to be viewed on a VGA setup ,hence my question , way back on page one asking for more info on your laptop , and more importantly the inputs on your TV , however instead of answering , you explained to us all how you had a new BMW sat outside your house , which does not really assist in connecting your laptop to your TV0 -
on page one asking for more info on your laptop , and more importantly the inputs on your TV ,
Question was.......this is getting boring !
I did / don't want an inquest just an answer .
Does this cable exist ? No unfortunately it doesn't. End of .
I don't need an alternative, I don't want advice.
IF I had asked..........how do I watch photo's which are on my laptop , on my tv .....this is an invite to give general advice.
My BWM makes as much sense as asking Laptop model.
My laptop has a USB and the TV has a HMDI thats ALL the info needed.0 -
defiantly out of it now , I am adamant that you are now a troll , and don,t want help , just multiple posts to increase your post count .
My laptop has a USB and the TV has a HMDI thats ALL the info needed. , no it hasn't it has several other inputs , have you omitted to tell us about scart or composite , hell you have omitted the coax lead , you are truly being awkward with your reply's
enjoy ,0 -
What, some one who can actually read and understand a simple question ??
No one needs to know my computers or my tv.
Are you being deliberately obtuse ?
If people knew the model of both they may be able to help you by finding a better alternative solution when knowing the capabilities of your laptop and TV.
PS ask the right question and you will get the right answer, currently you are asking the wrong question.
I suspect reading too much Daily Fail has dulled your senses.
http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Daily_MailScience isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
The answer is yes and no.
USB is a standard that is device agnostic, and so the general case is no - you cannot get a USB to HDMI cable.
In specific cases though the answer is yes you can.
Certain devices implement MHL (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_High-Definition_Link) which will put data out of a USB port in such a fashion that a relatively dumb cable can turn it into a working HDMI signal.
If you've got one of these devices as the source (the USB end) then you may be able to do what you want.0 -
Why are you still bothering with this idiot?
I'd have left it at post three.0
