I understand that the cable I was posting about does not exist.
I saw a micro usb one that works with a tablet and a phone. I don't think its unreasonable to ask if there was one which would simply link my laptop with the tv.
I stayed on topic ( most of the time) It was not me that started the insults.

The is truth is there isn't a micro-usb to hdmi (it just tends to be labelled that way), what you are looking at is MHL (mobile high definition link) to hdmi, they just happen to share the same port and plug on your device so tend to get called usb-mhl. "
