    I realise that (myself included).

As long as it benefits someone then it's worth posting.

Hmm... at risk of going against my own advice not to blatantly abuse these offers, there doesn't seem to be anything preventing switching existing TSB accounts away and back again. Unless I'm missing something?

    Full terms:
    How to apply

This offer is available if you open a new TSB Classic Plus Account through MoneySupermarket or Money Saving Expert between the 8 June and 28 June 2015. TSB have the right to withdraw, alter or replace the offer at any time.

This offer is not available through our branches, over the telephone or directly through TSB.co.uk or through mobile banking.

    Eligibility

To qualify for the offer you must:
    a. Switch to TSB using the Current Account Switch Service by the 28 July 2015
    b. Transfer all active credits and debits from your old account and close it
    c. Credit at least £500 to your new TSB account within 30 days of the switch completing and register a minimum of 2 active Direct Debits

Account opening is subject to our assessment of your circumstances. You must be 18 or over and a UK resident to apply.

You can only benefit from this offer once.

You cannot switch your joint account to TSB under this offer.

This offer is not available to employees of TSB Bank plc.
    Payment

Payment will be made to your new TSB bank account 30 days after the switch has completed and you have complied with the conditions of the offer.

Can't see anything incorrect with what you're saying.

I guess they may decline your application when trying to open another Classic Plus so soon after having closed one? Who knows...

Hmmm. I switched away to Nationwide so why not switch back for the £100? After offering me the account I need to select a branch but it won't let me. It says
There is a problem with some of the information you have submitted.

    Please enter a valid value.

No idea what its on about as I have selected a branch, clicked continue and it keeps bouncing me back.

There is an error with applying for this account through the link. It won't let you choose a branch after being credit checked and the account being approved. Been told on the phone by their IT dept it is a known fault to be resolved within 24 hours.

Not happy needing to be credit checked a 2nd time. The CS rep is trying to find my application and push it through.

edit - unable to push application through, need to apply 2nd time, credit checked 2nd time and was advised to get 30 day free trial of Experian or Equifax, wait about a week and if I am detrimentally affected by a 2nd search to complain and TSB would offer be compensation but a current account search should have no effect (apparently)

Hi, So did u managed to apply 2nd time, selected branch and obtained your new account details?

I know someone who has a classic account. If she applies for a new classic Plan will she be eligible for incentive?

Do you think they will stop you open more than the maximum then?
