  • Thanks all. Cold getting worse, but have had 3 early nights so far, so managing into work, only to get home, have a lovely orange vitamin C drink and sleep.

Only way to get rid, is to sleep it off. Long weekend coming up :)

  • Thanks everyone, feeling slightly better, (that'll teach me to only have 1 day off in 12), and since its the long weekend here, holiday Monday took Tuesday as a/l feel a lot better.

Here's my update, its a very l o n g month till I see my next mortgage payment come off and still miss being able to o/p like crazy - driving me demented, seeing it in a savings account, just doesn't do anything for me.Managed to haul out the double cupboard to make space for my other freezer :D and now have space for my separate bins side by side. Oh, the joys, I really need to get out more :rotfl:

Done a large shop at my local @ldi's, cost £27 :o so have been batch cooking like a maniac now I have somewhere to put them, and so far have [STRIKE]11[/STRIKE] no, make that 10 (I had one last night :)) main meals and two pots of different soups. More chicken out defrosting and 3 packets of sausages for casseroles later on. Do feel slightly more organised and actually enjoyed being in the kitchen for a couple of hours. One thing I did find out is that I need to learn a bit more about what I can and cannot freeze.:)

Still looking for a new deal on phone and internet, will not be able to get same deal as last year :( as basically phone rental and internet was free for the year :money: thanks to Martin. Must have a look at the energy switch, as I don't have figures to compare it's quite difficult for me.

Whatever can I get up to next, all suggestions (legal, of course) gratefully accepted and considered.

I guess this maybe the time to get items listed on the b@y for Christmas, I had quite a few items ending last week leaving only about 8 items still listed, so I was quite surprised when one sold. I should get round to re-listing later on today and listing some new items that I don't need or want any more. Decluttering continues.

Day off and having a lazy one so far, although was good to get the ironing out of the way. By lunch time should be ready for a b@y mathon :rotfl:Need to get [STRIKE]clutter [/STRIKE], I mean treasures out and ££'s in. I need the space (so I keep telling myself). MK/FS . . . . . here I come :D

  • Afternoon AFK

Yep i do like going AWOL every now & then. Life is up & down at the moment and with all the juggling that takes place - MSE forum does take a back seat.

Hope that you are doing well though, i can see that all your money movements are paying dividends, which is good.

I am plugging away slowly with my own mortgage in the middle of all the juggling.

    Take care

    SIL
  • Thanks SIL

Hope you are coping with all the juggling and plugging going on, You know we're always here, to lend an ear if needed :)

Keep plugging and smiling through
