• Itching to make another o/p - can't wait till payday and then mortgage pay day - wish they fell on the same day.

Strange isn't it when I actually look forward to paying my mortgage :rotfl:

Managed to lock myself out of my daily account  so a small o/p will have to wait. Then remembered I sold an item, paypal to the rescue :) £9.61 o/p :D

That brings my o/p pot to £730, aiming for £1000 by end of year. So far, so good.

Now better get that item posted. 2 days to payday.

• Been to the PO, @ldi's and £stretchers. Total spend £9. Most items relisted and another one sold :) Just need to get items on that have not been listed before, which takes a bit of time. Anybody know how to list quickly?

Decided today, that I am going to keep on top of things, menus/eb@y £'s/freezer/cupboard stock and items MK'd, well going to try at least, since a new month starting soon.
• 2 more washings done
• ironing done
• bed changed
• items relisted
• PO and essential shopping done
• bathroom cleaned
• all floors done and rooms dusted
• new lamps out and on in l/r
and I'm feeling good :)

I do think this MK/FS thing works, long way still to go, but feel i'm getting there. Hung a crystal at hall window where sun beats in first thing in the morning. Lovely to see all the colours dancing around, and all my kitchen cupboards and drawers all have crystal handles (32 of them in all), so once the sun moves round, its dancing rainbows everywhere.

Next on the hit list is phone/internet connection switch. Haven't yet decided, :rotfl: dither, dither :)
Did I mention it's 2 more sleeps to payday.

• Putting my travel fare for the week aside, so my nsd don't count my travel expense. A 50p spend today, although not officially keeping tabs until the 1st.

Got payslip and no o/t in this month so a bare month, thank goodness its a 4 week(er). One more sleep to payday.

• Haha, just heard the weather forecast for tonight, gusts of up to 70 mph. Not so funny, maybe but the comment that came with it was "

It's a gusty night tonight, so you'll be retrieving your dusty bin from down the street tomorrow morning" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

• Inspired a couple of MFW with my unusual (odd) way of o/p my mortgage, and thought I would post it here.

Knotty Knots :rotfl::rotfl: here we go;I have a simple method to keep me motivated, only thing is to explain I make it sound complicated  and only works if you have a sub account as well, but you could adjust to suit yourself.
• "Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage"
• This way the least/most you will pay is 1p or 9.99
• On flush days you could go for 00.00 at the end ;) or even 000.00
Today I o/p £20.39 as my mortgage plus sub account ended xx,720.39, next I will look at mortgage figure only which will be xx,279.61.

so I have the option of o/p 1p (don't laugh, a pennys, a penny), 61p, £9.61 or if very flush :p £79.61
next time I look at my mortgage plus sub account, and so it goes on. At the end of the month I usually aim for a nice round figure, maybe aiming for the xx,500.00 or xx,000.00 This has certainly kept me "interested" :Dshall we say:rotfl::D

I know, I know, I need to get out more :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you find this entertaining, if not inspiring :D

Ok, so - what's at the end of your mortgage ???

987,654.32 so options are 32p = 987,654.00 or
987,654.32 so options are 4.32 = 987,650.00 or
987,654.32 so options are 54.32 = 987,600.00 or
987,654.32 so options are 654.32 = 987,000.00

Just aim for as many Knotty Knots as possible, that's 00's to you ;) at the end of your mortgage.

The problem with that is it leaves your bank account an odd amount :rotfl:. My mortgage account didn't update daily so my spreadsheet was not entirely accurate so I did similar with my bank balance.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

My bank balance never stays the same for very long  whereas I have 2 different figures in my mortgage, and there's always one with the 00.00 (at least) :j

I did mention it was odd  strange when all I strive for is evens. Works for me, and certainly wouldn't be where I am, without it.

ps- one of my bank accounts has 222.22 in it :p

• I love your knotty knots theory, AFK! :j

I already make sure the mortgage account is rounded down to a 0 at the end. However, the idea of doing this between two accounts just makes the game even more fun! :D
