The problem with that is it leaves your bank account an odd amount :rotfl:. My mortgage account didn't update daily so my spreadsheet was not entirely accurate so I did similar with my bank balance.
I'm with you gg. I try to round off my bank account balance-usually by tillytidying the odd amounts into savings.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

I already make sure the mortgage account is rounded down to a 0 at the end. However, the idea of doing this between two accounts just makes the game even more fun!
Enthusiasm for OPing has been renewed :T
Thanks PL - Your half way there:rotfl:Do you have 2 accounts? which makes this easier to play
I get bored so easily, this way I can o/p numerous times, and certainly works for me, I am very happy with my progress o/pand know I would not have made the same headway with TT'ing my bank accounts.

Just aim for as many Knotty Knots as possible, that's 00's to youat the end of your mortgage.
I do this with my mortgage and CC on payout day... then throw even numbers (tens) £80 weekly. Now the car payment will be gone I'll be rounding up the bnb each time too.. the pennies I keep in my bank account to spend :T:TMortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20220 -
Thanks MFD Do you also find you o/p far more this way
? I like to see my bank balance go UP, not down :rotfl:

I think the continued refocusing here helps... but yes, I know I'll pay lodger's weekly rent straight in so I do it.. the bnb money I tend to round up.. so I get £29... so I'll pay off £30...
Since moving to t$b, I keep my FD account pretty empty with just the few DDs covered.. The only thing is my savings with t$b current account and regular saver means I can get hold of my cash far too easily.Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20220 -
Morning AFK ( and all)
I can't join in this bit of chat as I am not OCD enough!
You are doing amazingly, keep going. (Even if your number rounding seems crazy to me!)
New job is great, let's see how this goes. Payday weekend so lots to do, and spend!
Have a great weekend all.

Had a right l[STRIKE]azy[/STRIKE] relaxing day yesterday which turned out crazy stressful for me - looking for new deals, just like the weather - we had fog in the am (same as this am), then beautiful sun, to be followed with heavy rain and hailstones, to then change to a beautiful sunny day, albeit somewhat colder, resisted putting the heating on, and fleecy blanket came out instead.
Could not sleep last night, slightly overwhelmed, with what I needs my attention.- switch utilities for me and my mum
- switch phone and internet plus tv for me, mum wants to keep sky tv
- send email for repeat prescription
- pay bill/do money shuffle
- take saga to stage 2 complaint
- List items on the b@y
- Look for basic spreadsheet, and
- Find/make a house graph with bricks to colour in
Yesterday was a nsd, but have to pop out to shops today. Seen a winter jumper I like and after seeing weather yesterday, I may need some ankle boots, my 3 pairswere MK'd.
Waiting patiently for Monday Mortgage figures to come round, then can steam ahead with mortgage zero's.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
I struggle with savings as opposed to overpaying too. I never did find a house to colour in - although that sounds like fine - I just used a graph and coloured in the that!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0
