Payday today, but trying to tell myself it's next week, cause if I don't next month is a 5 week(er) :(

As usual, I can't wait, and have put another £100 into the pot for my new target, very slowly beginning to like this way of saving, as it is only "moneyshuffling" :) but my OCD is agony as I can't round down my mortgage :rotfl:but cheated a little and have made up a spreadsheet and enter my o/p's and rounding down onto that :D
    Where there's a will, there's a way ;)

No bank holiday here, but have taken the day off anyway, in the hope I may be able to do something productive. Also have plans for tonight listing some more on the b@y.

At the back of my mind, have been thinking about trying out the new shift pattern at work, but had a problem about committing myself to it - seems you don't have to, so in my eyes that's a ++ so a big step closer :) another plus is more ££'s :D ++ Need to list the negatives, not sure there is any to be honest ++

There is so many idea's/plans/jobs in my head, I need to get them written down and get a move on ticking them all off. A wee voice in my head keeps asking me - can I clear this mortgage in 2 years ?

    Saga continues . . . . . . . will say no more :(

Awake early this morning/during the night again. Feel so unsettled at the moment, as if somethings about to happen, good or bad, and normally my instincts are good, maybe the cause of my disturbed sleep the last 3 nights, but refuse to get up until around 6.00am

Looks like it's going to be a nice day today and I have a long weekend - can't wait, lets hope I get a move on and get things done. Now need to clear/tidy loft as saga needs access in the coming weeks/months to get some work done.

If it's your bank holiday weekend, have a nice one and if it's not, have a lovely weekend, anyway.

Good luck with the loft clearing. I made some progress with ours but need Dh to take stuff to the local recycling centre this weekend.

Well done with the eB@y listings :j
I need to get my rear in gear and get loads of stuff sorted and up for sale. I'm up against it for the next few weeks and need to raise some serious cash to stay afloat. :(

    Thanks everyone,

TC - get listing, I know its a pain, but nice when you have ££'s instead of items.

Home from work - knackered !!! Thank goodness I have Monday off :) They were kind of mentioning they were short - but didn't take the bait :o now feel slightly guilty.

Wondering why I'm so tired, forgot I was awake half the last 3 nights  Oh, loft clearing - think that might turn into loft tidying. Will try and list more on the b@y as its pay weekend :) although its slow, you never know.

Came home to a nice letter, asking me if I wanted to sell shares I have, I try to forget I have them until I get a nice wee cheque in every so often and when they ask me if I want to sell. They tell me how much they are worth, wish they wouldn't as I'm now thinking what I could do with it :D

Bought my monthly euro lottery ticket for tonight and an extra for tomorrow as loads of prizes :) to be won :rotfl:Fingers crossed.

  • Afternoon All,

    Productive morning, so far have managed;
    • Kitchen Tidy & Floor done
    • Bed Changed
    • Washing on and out
    • Next washing on
    • Bathroom done & Towels changed
    • 2 Phone calls made (see ** below)
    • Nothing extra listed on the b@y :rotfl:
Happy with that for now, especially one phone call I made.

Spoke to mortgage lender and got official mortgage balance for 1.1.16, so I have £152.37 left of my 10% allowance (knew I was close)

More interestingly and important was the conversation I had, and asked if I could reduce my term, therefore upping my monthly payments = overpaying, without penalty :j :D they said - Yes !!! Appointment made. Will play with calculator later and see what I can reduce it to :) without being too dramatic.

How did I not know about this ???

Seems to good to be true :) Away to play with calculator :D

Been on a bit of a frenzy cleaning/declutter.

    • Stairs and Hall have been cleaned :)
    • Front door inside & out washed down ;)
    • Hall window stained/varnished & cleaned :)
    • Blind in hall - put a new border on - my tartan ribbon one started peeling off
    • Managed to wash off little scuff marks on wall :)
    • Couch in SR2 FULL of bags to go to CS :p
    • Forgot how big that room was :o
And as usual - my kitchen and L/R are now worse than ever, good job I'm off tomorrow, guess what I'll be doing. Haven't even managed to venture into loft. So much to do, so little time.
