Lucky you, I'm not giving in but tomorrow going to a shopping centre that has a large Yankee shop, so you never know.
Plan B - No.6 on Santa's list:DAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
On DDs most of accounts with switching bonus ask for two _active_ ones - i.e. where money comes out before your bonus is paid - I have two small DDs that I can transfer over online without extra fuss if I switch
what bank were you looking at?0 -
I think i'm getting confused as it seems each bank has its own interpretation/rules;1 states "active", another states "active" but doesn't need to pay out (?). eg - I read you could apply online, by telephone or go into a branch - I done the latter - they had no one that could speak to me about the switch.
It was the Clydesdale and if that doesn't work then Plan B Halifax.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
I think active means that they pay out before the bonus is paid. As long as there is money going out..
I'm looking to get the £150 off from Clydesdale although not signed up for it yet....on Monday when the last day is for that one...0 -
Me too, so you reckon i can apply, then set up 2 d/d before the switch date i give them.
you said you can change 2 of your d/d online. How do you do that?Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Did anyone mention Tesco savings accounts which will take money by DD? Then you can take it back again later. If I was Tesco I would be looking at stopping this but don't think they have so far. They seem to accept really small amounts too!0

I've got gremlins, just lost a long post moaning about my laptop, when it suddenly switched off. Took it back to the shop yesterday and they said will exchange it for any other one they have to the value i paid. Great I thought, then found out they had 2 to choose from. Didn't like either so came home with misbehaving one again. Really like the one i have, if it would just behave.
Logged on to mortgage account this morning, to find no payment taken off yet again:mad:. Then had a closer look at the figures, something strange here:eek:, I thought, nothing rounded down and I have been rounding down my last few figures. Hmmm. Went shopping, came back, logged on, and low and behold there is all the rounding down figures I should have seen this morning. Anyone else noticed blips, or is it just me.
Oh and applied for Clydesdale account last night (late) once completed it said, we are working on your application now, then stated, we have experienced a technical fault. So don't know if application went through or not. Gremlins, again.
Have a leak in my roof, so have to get that fixed :mad:asap. Funnily enough someone came to the door last night and asked if I was getting water in, I said yes, but i've not reported it yet. They were for my neighbours. Spooky Gremlins.
Have made an o/p of £200 :j
Interest down £3.05 from last month(?)with o/p £441, :j
interest down 0.18p from previous month, o/p £1208.87(?) how does that work out then ??
The bay of e - still doing good, for me atm:j
Still to start Xmas shopping, yet have no inclination, interest or energy. The way I feel, just let me close the curtains, sleep, and open curtains when it's all over. I should have been well on the recovery road by now, maybe the dark days (nights I hear you say) no, days - its so dark here, have something to do with my mood,(can you tell which kind I'm in:rotfl:) energy levels.
Mission for today - tot up spends and keep in a diary:AAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

Are you happy with the change in rate ?? I'll bet. :j What your comparisons like now?
I was too, although could kick myself for not going back into a fixed sooner. Interest 1st fixed 4.04%, then went to svr at 3.99, new deal 1.78%, so went down from £130 (ish):( to £55(ish), so last month was £53.22, this month £50.17:D (bearing in mind there is 1 day less).
Worked it out now and rounded down. Another £137.05 o/p.:p:D:j and that will be it for this year,
although on second thoughts may dip into my EF to top up o/p to my 10% max allowed:D:D for this year. Then it starts all over again, but at least next year it will be the 10% total in 12 months, not like this year, where it was 10% in 4 months:eek:Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190
