Received my usual letter and cheque for interest on some shares I have :j . . . at least that is what I thought it was. . . thinking what will I do with it this time  - maybe a bench for the garden, some pots and flowers, astro turf - would save me from cutting the grass - anything for an easy life . . .
then I opened the envelope. . . gosh what will I do with this amount . . . all 41p _pale_ oh well, at least I had some nice thoughts for a second or two. :rotfl:Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
It is a five week month for me
and ashamed to admit I have lost track of all my spending this month  I just keep presenting my card, one day it will be refused  I will eventually have a peek.
Have been sneezing a lot, even on low pollen days, but that is all (just now).
Had a meeting at work, seen as I was in for investigations anyway, hoping to get back beg June, as 5 folk leaving in the next 6 weeks or so. (That means plenty, plenty overtime) 7 days a week, 12 hour days. :rotfl:so hopefully can recoup some of the spending I have been doing.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
I'm not really a pet person, either cats or dogs, but, I am just upstairs after feeding a stray cat which seems to have "adopted" this address, after hearing its miaow's (almost constant) this is the 3rd day/night it has appeared and is there in the morning and during the day as well.
My neighbour has tried a message on facebook etc, to no avail. I may try a notice in the local shops in the morning if the kittie is still there. Other than that, I have no idea what to do next.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Back on track (nearly) as have 2 birthdays, 3 leaving presents and a retiral, all this month, starting with my nephew's birthday today.
Appt tomorrow, to deal with my pension, then friends birthday lunch, ending with gp appt, somwhere inbetween want to get to M&S and buy their food deal that is on just now, looks yummy !!!
I'm thinking back to work Wed (has to happen sometime) but still humming and hawing regarding the amount of days I now want/have to work and bigger decision is what days of the week I want to work, if only I knew what you come out with for weekend work, that could be an option for me.
Will dig deeper once back at work.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
H AFK
Sorry I have been MIA for quite a while.
I was sorry to see you are off sick again. A few words of wisdom from my own experience ( make of them what you will!!)
In terms of money and hours, do you know how many hours you need to work to cover all essentials?
You haven't revealed much about your side hustle, is that still ongoing? I ask because if you could do the minimum hours you need at work to pay the bills, then maybe you would be able to develop your side hustle. Let's face it, if you can get it to equal your minimum bills on part time hours you are laughing.
My experience taught me that no job is worth losing your health for. Whilst you have to remain/stay on the number of hours you are on, are there ways you can reduce your exposure to the issues? Or limit your response to them? I realise both are easier said than done, but your health really must be the only priority. I see you have a busy day today. I will keep an eye out for any further posts however. I have been struggling with my log in on here recently, for reasons I can't fathom.

Hi Bexster
Hope everything is well with you. Thought you would be busy with all the exams etc.
I lost my internet connection yesterday (nearly all day) but managed to get back on last night late.
I haven't done all the maths of yet, seem to be just plodding on aimlessly for now. Need to get my @rse in gear which I will do asap.
As for side hustle, I aim to give this up, will maybe keep going to the end of the year then hopefully that will finish it. I am looking into part time hours and maybe even just working weekends (enhancement pay) need to find out more about it though. A bit too scared to make a move/change, really.
Later today at GP's, I am sure, well, know, he's going to have a diagnosis for me as symptoms have been ongoing for a few years now, and coming to a head. old age doesn't come alone as they say :rotfl:
I have been busy decluttering, so that in itself makes me feel much better, with still loads more still to goI have a few rooms looking their best (for now) and very pleased with them.
No plans for any breaks atm, will think about that later, have some saving to do first, or is it I'm just tight fisted- probably

AFK (tickles me pink - I have a car that sits outside near my house and guess what, their regi plate is AFK :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
ps Forgot to ask - how on earth do you get your MF badge ???Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Good morning. Great to hear from you.
I completely understand re:plodding along. I also get the fear to make a change ( more on that at the end). AFK seems the natural acronym for you
Hope doctors goes well. It must be exhausting not knowing what is wrong. I would ask work about weekend pay rate. Can't hurt. You are always welcome to DM me if you are in need of motivation re: sums :;)
My MF badge appeared automatically. Not so my bake off badge ( clearly more important!) so I messaged a mod, saying how about a badge fir my oxo cube tip. They said they didn't have one ( for shame!) but they would sort my bake off badge. So it was done!
A vid for you. https://youtu.be/bf5zCV8xEPw

Today has been exhausting, but have another 2 weeks off work, determined to get back after that, although back at gp's for more tests next week.
Not sure how my work will react re news as already short staffed, with vacancies, staff leaving and sick leave. Feel guilty, but that's what got me here in the first place.
So as of tomorrow, I must achieve at least 1 good thing off my "to do" list, which is in my head atm.
Oh, I did buy a euro ticket today, who knows . . . fingers crossed.
Not watched the vid yet, but will make a point of doing that, and what's this about oXo cube tip ??Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
I had read that oxo cubes are not just foil covered. If you pull the corners out it makes a little "bag" which you can crush it up in.
This apparently was revelatory to more than just me.
