  • Ok bear, have you had your renewal finalised yet?
I don't want to wait weeks for my finalised back. :Living on edge, not knowing what payments will be etc.
So I think I will ring them Friday or Monday as it will have been 8 weeks which was the deadline date they gave me.
So as it seemed Concentrix didn't do my renewal just the investigation now HMRC must be doing my renewal!

HMRC told me they were dealing with my renewal all along, that's what I posted in my first post. It baffled me.

Yes, I'd ring them, definitely. I'm calling on Friday to check the progress.
  • The letter came today asking for more info but it was dated over a week ago which i have since spoke to them and given them the info. This letter was well nasty And threatening! As they closed my case after the date of this letter I'll probably have to wait another week for the case closed letter and then God knows how long till finalised notice

Along the lines of not Doing what t hey asked on my annual declaration and not reporting changes please make sure you tell them any changes and confirm income ask do I need to declare anything now that may affect my award.

Failing to provide this info by 23rd June will result in my claim being ended and me been asked to pay back tax credits.

We may charge a penalty and we will finalise the info with what we have!

I did my renewal online 27th April.
They have since closed my case yesterday they confirmed no changed and concentrix case closed and my diff in child care was less tha 10£ a week and they can't amend system for small amount.

The letter was dated 9th June I spoke to them that day and they asked if I had any changes to declare. Must have crossed in post.

I will ring hmrc to see if renewal finalised now
  • Hmrc said yesterday they had my info from concentrix on childcare and gave me a date of 22nd June. That it should be completed by then.

Well I am not waiting weeks for award I will ring them on due date.

If concentrix closed case and not amended my award surely hmrc can now finalise my renewal as its been 8 weeks!
  • Award finalised confirmed over the phone. Issued today so will follow in post. From Concentrix closing claim Monday its took 3 days to finalise renewal.
Payments going down £9 a month.

Lets hope that's it for now well at least until next year!

Did they say thats what they were waiting for? ( Concentrix outcome)
  • Bear i asked the lady what the hold up was she said its standard now for renewals to take 8 weeks. Which i dont believe because some have taken few days some few weeks.

I said could it have been held up cause of Concentrix she said yes its likely but they have all the info now and funny enough it was finalised today and issued today!

Must be a different system to how they used to work.
Last year i had auto renewal.

Year before HMRC investigation, this year Concentrix.

I hate renewal times! But i am going to be prepared now and save everything!
  • anyone else had this experience?

I had a concentrix letter dated 28/04 originally going to my old address
    never received

then rang them for case id on 04/06, and asked what they need, and explanation letter and all documents (childcare) posted 1st class signed for on 05/06, received by them in Lansing on 08/06

they since issued me with a new letter that came later (dated the date i rang) which i ignored because it was asking for stuff i already sent

today -- since it's been two weeks since i posted them -- i rang again to ask whatsup, was on hold at least 40 minutes, then a guy came to the phone who said that the company which receives the documents is in Lansing and must scan everything onto the system, and then they in Balfast (?) will look into it

however he said there is currently a 3-week scanning delay and it is normal that my stuff wasn't scanned yet if it was received 8/6 and i should call back in a week's time with royal mail tracking reference

anyone know anything about it?! that actually they are NOT in Lansing? thaht there is some other company involved? and there is currently a 3-week delay?

anyone else sent their stuff in the beginning of June and it wasn't processed yet???

i renewed tax credits 28/04 by phone and totally crushed by all this, as expecting a lump sum (actual earnings lower than predicted)
