It takes forever to log out and log back in again, because the log out/log in pages are very slow, or not responding. I've tried clearing the cache each time and that doesn't seem to help either. Heaven knows what is wrong with this site, but they're sure taking their time fixing it..

I understand there have been updates on Twitter about these issues- it would be nice if updates could actually be placed here on the site as well- not all of us use Twitter and it feels like we are being ignored.

Same for me. Very slow, on both internet explorer and firefox. It would be good if we could get some updates through on here. i don't have a twitter account. is there anyone who has one who knows the current state of play?

When I try to use the forum on firefox first it says it is connecting to google-analytics.com, which takes ages, then to the forum, which also takes ages.

Is this related just to using the old style format? I've been having problems since yesterday, I just keep getting the 'timed out' page up and then I can't get a connection for about 10 minutes. I seem to be able to access two threads before being timed out, very annoying. I don't do twitter or facebook and I really don't like the new format, it hurts my eyes. I'd hate to not have the Old Style Threads every day just because I prefer to use the old format.

I hope this isn't just related to the old format. Although I think I read earlier in the thread that people using the new format were getting it too.

I much, much prefer the old green format.

I've been getting the same problems yesterday and today, and I've been using the new format for a while. MSE I know you're probably busy panicking and hopefully sorting the glitches, but it would be good if you could give us a wee update here when you can.

Just spent 10 minutes trying to get on the site only to keep seeing
