I wonder if it works better under the new look? Perhaps I will try it. I am finding it is so slow as to be almost un-useable under the 'old look' and I keep getting an error message.
What is the actual problem with the site, is it a technical fault? Are they going to fix it soon?left the forum due to trolling/other nonsense

I am still unable to log in on my desktop PC

This forum's practically unusable today. I even got a 'Your request has timed out' when I clicked on 'Thanks'!
I have to remember to press ctrl-A, ctrl-C at intervals while posting to ensure I don't lose the lot.

That's a new one and made me think 'no xxx Sherlock'.................

Since you are "aware of the issues", could you spell out to us what you see them as being?Just to let you know, we're aware of the issues the site is having today - our tech team is on the case!
And what your "tech team" are doing.
(I take it that "on the case" meant that they are trying to rectify the problem, rather than it being the cause i.e. they were tweaking the live system again.)

i have been experiencing the issues all mentioned above - mostly the time out issue though. I have been clicking back on my browser and then posting again. Just out of interest - what browser are people using? and are you on the old/new forum layout?
I am using chrome - old layout.
Undergrad degree - completed 2018
Masters degree - completed 20190 -

I'm still getting the timed out page every time I try to post, and sometimes to thank.
I'm on the old green format.
I use Safari, and I only have an iPad, no desktop.
It seems to be affecting all systems.(I just lurve spiders!)
