The only thing you can enter into a Windows Setup is a Product Key. But many (?all) Windows 10 devices that were upgraded from an earlier version seem to share the same Product Key (for a given edition). I'm pretty sure that key won't activate on its own in a clean install, unless you've already activated that hardware before with Windows 10, in which case you can just skip entering the product key anyway.0 -
My Win 10 laptop has a shortcut in the control panel "BACKUP AND RESTORE WINDOWS 7" - I am assuming that this should read "BACKUP AND RESTORE YOUR ORIGINAL WINDOWS INSTALLATION" ?
Because, whilst I do prefer Win 7 to Win 8 - Win 8.1 is my original OS !!0 -

That's to access the menu to do (and restore) a full system imageit's a legacy thing and was also in 8 and 8.1. It's not to roll back the upgrade from 10 to your original OS.

Free to those that had Media player versions of Windows previously around £12 for others. It only Plays DVD's at the moment, not sure if they intend to ramp up the functionality in the future. Seems a lot of money just for a player.
