If you set your WiFi to share for one particular contact, e.g. your son's mate, it gets shared for ALL contacts. Including that neighbour I mentioned, who now might accidentally or unintentionally log on via your WiFi (How will he tell PLUSNETf3w5636f apart from PLUSNET0wev0waza as the Wifi ID?).
He might not even get logged off if you disable the feature, until he disconnects then tries to reconnect.
Another thing I wonder about. You often hear how hackers and criminals are tracked to a physical address via their IP addresses and the IP address records are used in court as evidence. So what happens now about that neighbour - do you take responsibility for all his internet transactions?
Well leave the feature switched off then..........0 -

Now it seems W10 does not have an XP mode. Online advice is, use W10's built in Hyper-V feature to run XP mode. BUT you need a valid XP license to do so. I'd love to be contradicted on this so please can someone do so and say how?
PS I'm talking full XP mode here, had to download and install it, it's free from MS, not XP Compatibility mode which does exist on 10.0 -
Really? The Tomtom 1005 was released around 2010, 2 years after Windows XP was withdrawn.0
