Windows 10 has just gone up in my estimation if it automatically cans NortonScience isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
Started the install about 21.2 hours ago, stopped at 91% about an hour ago and counting. Stopped oh's install till mines sorted. No keys work of course so can't much.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Sounds like you didn't have the latest version of Norton installed. They released Win 10 compliant versions of Norton 360 and Internet Security a few weeks back, but bizarrely it didn't update automatically for me ... it was sheer fluke that I clicked on 'Look for new version' and found it.

Arrrgghhh, won't activate on my desktop, an old Viglen with Win7, genuine Win7 install CoA sticker worn away.
I'd hate to stoop to a hack to get it going.0 -
Hello,
I tried installing Windows 10 on my Laptop this morning and it, killed my Laptop almost.
I didn't receive a notification it was ready or should i say i never clicked on the windows icon on the taskbar.
I started the installation from the updates page where it said to install Windows 10.
I followed the procedure and it didn't work and i was left with this message on the Screen,
PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE ROM,
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key.
I have now tried to reinstall Windows 7 from my recovery disks and still get the same message, so my Laptop is useless at the moment.
Any ideas how to solve this problem.

If you do, it would be helpful to say a bit more about how you attempted the install it - did you download using the Media Creation tool mentioned above?
Also, if you haven't already, worth accessing the BIOS settings to make sure that the DVD drive (assuming the Recovery Disks are DVDs) are in the Boot Order list?0 -

Just timed it on this machine. 27 minutes from clicking accept to being back into the desktop.0 -

Magical Jelly bean will find and tell you your key, install and run the free version.

It is stuck at preparing for installation now. I had to remove my virus checker this morning, due to the fact Windows 10 would not download with it in. I can think of better things to do this evening than wait for this to finish. I can see this completing at 4am in the morning. I am wondering if Windows 10 will upgrade correctly after all this time. I have my boot disk ready, and now I am not really bothered it this installs or not. Fed up with it tonight. It has been downloading since 11.12 am this morning, 29/7/15.0
