Only f you don't have a backup of Win 7 .....
Oh -- are Microsoft wrong, then? Or are they just talking about losing the ability to do an in-place downgrade of Windows 10 to 7?Can I go back to my previous version of Windows if I don’t like Windows 10?
Yes, while we think you will love all the features of Windows 10, you will have one month after upgrading to revert back to the previous version of Windows on your device.0 -

Do we need to do clean install or can we do upgrade ?
With upgrade we don't need to install back all our softwares right ?
And we also don't lose our data from C drive.
Am I right or am i missing something ?0 -

umm , sorry I might be misunderstanding you
use the upgade , that will be downloaded onto your machine to convert from win 7/8 to win 10 , you can either save your original , in order to revert back , or you can then delete your 7/8 files (will explain if you need this)
OR you can download the file I showed , and either burn it to a DVD , pendrive or save it as an ISO to be burnt later .
this is for (in my case) a clean install , I selected "custom" , however I think you can install over the top of your old setup0
