Does this upgrade affect my C: partitions ?
I have my original OS on a second partition and I don't want to lose it - in case I need to revert back again.....

EDIT: Have found out this is not possible. I need to update to 10 first and then use the ISO to clean install 64Bit

Started a 8:30 with upgrade now typing this using win 10 no errors,

Using a old Fujitsu Esprimo Mobile lappy.

I started my download at 8.58am and it is still downloading. I have a major drop in internet speed today.

The only thing that puts me off upgrading from Windows 7 is the fact that, after a month's trial of Windows 10, you lose the ability to downgrade.

Presumably Windows 7 will never activate... lost forever... :-(

I started at 10:00 - on an 80Mbps fibre connection - it has just about finished downloading updates - now ready to installl

I am, however, concerned that the product key may cause problems - my Asus laptop does not have a "sticker" and using "jellybean" shows a different key to that found using a utility to read the registry !!
