Well let's hope gud'ol Dom can cheeky-chappie his way to a more penetrative piece than Annie. Whip 'em Dom, have 'em kissin' yer boots and hopefully send bigger vibrations through PPC world.

Just like troy-boy, twirly-whirly was quoting 'landowners' rights'.

Yes, of course landowners want to get shut of rogue parkers who park on their land all day for free while they go to work (and I suspect in the majority of instances this is more an annoyance factor rather than a case of regular customers not being able to park).

But in reality, rogue parkers are pretty soon gone, then all that's left to pursue are genuine customers, who make genuine minor errors while spending lots of money supporting the organisation which has turned their agents on their very own lifeblood. Economics of the lunatic asylum.

And does anyone think that the prime concern of any PPC is 'landowners' rights'? Complete and utter BS! Fancy hiding behind a steaming pile of that. Desperation, or what!

Well I've put in a complaint to the BBC saying they always name the companies in all other stories, why not this one ? I've also asked that Watchdog update the stories by naming the companies.

The thing that is nagging me in the back of my mind is that Parking Eye are owned by Capita. BBC Audience Services ( who will handle the complaint ) are outsourced to .... you've guessed it ... Capita. I'd lay a wedge on the undercover piece being Parking Eye.

this thread here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5244056 seems to name CEL as the likely candidate

I think that was speculation, but nothing in the clips (despite combined experience on the forums) was able to easily nail down which PPC this was.

And it certainly wasn't clear from the twirly-whirly interview whether the undercovered PPC was one of his (which CEL isn't one) or one of Trouserfire's.

I thought they made it clear that it was an IPC member, so not PE.

Personally I wouldn't be so sure. We know from a letter by Patrick 'Blatter' Troy that at least one of the vermin in the story was a BPA member. I wouldn't put it past the BBC to have mixed them up.

They said it was a company that used to be with BPA and has now moved to IPC. I think it was probably UKCPS.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Yes, and one of the NTKs featured was clearly a PE letter.

The undercover reporter wasn't in PE's offices, most likely UKCPS.

But that was about the 'Shopmobility' case not the undercover filming. That was at Bluewater so it was PCM (UK) they were referring to.
