I am so literal that I find it amusing you are taking off your face!

lots of hugs to go round, for once I took my full dose of codeine and am pleasantly less sore for a change! If a little spangled (tis only codeine, promise!).

katy I'm sure your OH will understand, baths are very good places to hide sometimes.

mellymoo I hope things get easier soon, its been a teribly long and unpleasant rollercoster recently for you

OMG, just googled Download festival to see who the line-up is, and I'm so jealous of you guys! One of my all time favourite bands is on, how'd I miss that?! I love Motley Crue! Kiss, Faith No More and Thunder are favourites too!

We used to go, haven't been for years, so stopped checking out the line-ups.

When are you travelling MU? If it's after the 11th, then hopefully you should be ok.

ETA: Just read that your tickets are for the 10th. They've already cancelled the strikes once, here's hoping they'll do so again.

I'm hoping the strikes are cancelled :( someone at work has offered to give me a lift if shes not working though so i technically have a plan B.

I saw Motley Crue supporting Def Leppard a good few years back and they were by far the better band, this is one of their last tours i think before they stop so i couldn't pass up the chance to see them one last time!

And KISS are brilliant, i've seen them twice and can't wait to see them again! :D It will be a brilliant end to the festival.

I went to that tour too! As much as I love motley Crue, and they were the primary reason I went, I came away absolutely blown away by Def Leppard, and thought they were the better group on the night. Vince Neil does tend to sound abit like a chipmunk singing live, and I hate that thing he does of missing out words!

I also loved Steel Panther, they're hilarious! :D

Kiss are the one band that I would love to see live! My friend (not a rock chick at all) got dragged along to see them by her boyfriend, and then raved about them for weeks afterwards!
