Good Morning HBS!
Good morning to you too, Georgie! Fred is very happy! He is currently surrounded by a pretty flower shaped cactus and a Bromeliad. I waved at him earlier, he is directly in my field of vision so often gets a smile and wave and always a pat when I walk past him.
Hahahaha! I'm ambidextrous, do I get to join in on left handed day? I was solely left handed until I was 3 when my mother decided to change that and still I use my left hand for a lot of things. My writing is clear but totally different depending on which hand I use oddly enough. I cannot use a knife at all unless it is in my left hand but can use right handed scissors as well as left handed. I'm weird.
Well done Melly, hopefully it gives you some peace for a while. It's about time!
I am so bored, can you tell by the way I leap on new posts to reply? My carer is unwell so has cancelled, WaSp is still asleep because he was awake until dawn trying to fix his friends computer and I have nothing to do! My american friend is also asleep and my teacher friend has gone out for the day so I can't annoy them either.
I can't even watch a silly film because our tv is a Smart one which means it doesn't work without internet (which still isn't fixed) and I can't listen to or watch anything online because it will cost a fortune for the mobile top ups. There are only so many safe sites that I can visit without reading something bad that starts the voices off. I think I might do some colouring again, I did 3 postcards yesterday.
Mind you, I will probably be asleep within the next hour the way things have been going...Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Happy left handed day to the weirdos!
My DH is left footed but right handed... maybe I should buy him a cake to celebrate but eat half, that's fair, right?! We're trying to figure out if DS is left or right handed but his favoured side seems to swap day by day!
Hope the appointment goes well Katy!
So great to see you back here MU!
I'm all foggy headed today so can't remember anything else, just wanted to give you all a wave! :wave:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
A level results day. Well, AS - first year of college - for my family friend and she has done very well so I am pleased. (A couple of A grades!) She works hard.
Next week is GCSE results. Another family friend will get her results. She was a very naughty girl for a couple of years but transformed herself in the last year of school. I am keeping fingers, toes, legs, eyes etc crossed that she gets some good results as she really does deserve it.
Now to get on with my work...
But did you know that cobweb comes from coppe (poison head - an old word for spider. Apparently the two ps became a b at some point).
Must get on...:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Happy left handed day. I am ambidextrous also. I favour my left hand for writing but can write legibly with my right. I knit, crochet, and use powertools with my right hand.
I have done a bad thing. You know how yesterday I wanted pizza and didn't have any? Well today I wanted it so badly I could taste it, so I ordered some for lunch. There goes the streak!
Hope everyone is ok.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hello Birdie!
I never knew that about spiders, whitewing! Well done to your friend and hoping your other friend does well, too. I remember my first A Level results, I was accepted into university and had a complete panic that I couldn't manage it. So instead of going I went back to college and did more A Levels and braved it the next year. Hence I have 6 A Levels and only need 3...
Aw, enjoy the pizza Code. If one does give in it doesn't mean that one shouldn't enjoy it, it won't help matters to feel guilty with each mouthful, you may as well relish it on the point that you won't be having any again for a while. Inspire us, WaS. What A levels did you do? (If it won't compromise your identity).:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Just read on another thread that someone managed to crowdfund £3k for travelling. This makes me sad as my cheerios made <£100 towards essential safety equipment
Well done on that WaS, I found my A-levels very difficult.

It's people raising money for things using the Internet, but they're asking for stuff for themselves.
Admittedly some are asking for community projects.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Isn't there any control over asking for money for yourself?
Presumably people know they're asking for themselves?
How strange that people would give them money just to go travelling.(I just lurve spiders!)
