I accepted the deal Pyxis, she isn't available today but I am seeing her tomorrow.
I've thrown half the ice cream away too as it wouldn't be safe going back in the freezer.

I think I will do the food shop tomorrow when I am in hopefully a better mood, otherwise I dread to think what would end up in the trolley!!

Think I am annoyed with myself more than anything for letting one doctors comments wind me up so much. I felt so positive when I woke up and now I feel rubbish. Spoke to hubby and had a rant about it, so hopefully that will get it out of my system. He is coming to see the midwife tomorrow to help me explain.

I think it's because they're generally not clean? Whereas if I put my non-takeaway pizza box in the recyclin, it's clean.

Something to do with the grease I think. If they see a pizza box, they won't empty the bin..

I thought it was a bought from the supermarket wrapped in polythene inside the cardboard box pizza?

If a takeaway pizza, then yes, it would be greasy and not accepted as recycling.
Sorry, I obviously didn't read your post properly.

Holding it down. Today's lesson: take away pizza for lunch is not worth it. However, the communists are approaching the fun house, so I am hormonal and therefore not going to be too tough on myself.

WaS, I'm impressed with your 6 A levels. Being Scottish, I did Highers instead. I have 5 if you include my 2 Ds. I wanted to resit as I was only just 17 when I did them, but the government announced that it was withdrawing tuition fees and grants the next year and I wouldn't have been able to go to uni if I'd waited, so I did a summer school transfer thingy that helped get me a place at uni.

Katy - I know what you mean about doctors. I think there's such an emphasis on academic excellence, that sometimes people go into medicine with no people skills, whereas maybe someone who didn't do quite so well in exams but was a really good people person might be a better doctor. I have only met two consultants so far that I didn't want to kick in the shins - one at the fertility clinic, where they were all lovely and an ENT specialist who was very handsome. Don't let them bother you. They're idiots with no people skills. I can tell you a million times that you're going to be ok, but you won't believe me until you are actually doing it.

Today, I almost dognapped a dog. I sometimes see a man walking a black lab in the mornings, and she's adorable. She's decided though, that my treats are better than her owners and today she followed me in the opposite direction and wouldn't go away. I don't think her owner is impressed - but he asked me about the treats and I told him how to make them. :rotfl:

Oh, I meant to tell you guys about something creepy that happened yesterday. I had the door open and a fly flew in. I think it was a bitey type but I'd never seen one like that before, and I only noticed when I looked down and saw it on my arm. I tried to get it off and it wouldn't fly away. Eventually it flew away but not far. I tried to chase it outside and when it wouldn't go, I tried to kill it, but I couldn't catch it. After a lot of chasing it with the hoover, it flew outside and I shut the doors. Then I looked outside and it was hovering outside the window, looking like it was staring in. When I looked 10 minutes later, it was still there.

    Afternoon my lovelies,

Hugs, handshakes and squishes to all who need them today.

You lot have been talking for England again :rotfl:

    Been spending money again.

Went in to a well know sports shop and bought trainers, gel insoles and sports bra. £51 later LOL!!!

And went to land of pound and bought some more plants. I even opened sealed boxes to see what is in side LOL!!!There is no where for them apart from pots at the moment.

And then went to morrisons and bought some reduced plants and the woman in the flower section over heard me saying I came in to get some buckets as they are good as short term planters. And she gave me 8 of them for free. Only a 99p saving but was really the only thing I went in for.

Back is killing again and no idea why. Taken pain relief and hot water bottle. Oh had my interview and think it went badly. Never mind LOL!!!

Was offered some help in the garden and then they messed me about so told them to go do one. nicely of course. What is with me and being messed about by people?

    Yours

    Calley

    Oh, boo. I don't qualify. :(

Sorry about the interview, although it may not have been as bad as you thought.

Do you know the great thing Calley? A few months ago you would have put up with being messed about. Now you value yourself more and that is wonderful.

As if its a level results day....! Wow WaS! 6 a levels???? That's pretty amazing!

It all take me back. I needed BCC (240 points i think) to get into uni and on the day i went to get my results i got told i only had about 100 points, cue me thinking i must have failed everything and i'd never get into uni etc. I burst into tears and then spent an hour in the office trying to get through to my uni, only to be told i'd got in and my welcome pack was on the way! Obviously confused i did some digging and found out they'd only give me one result! Once i got the other two i found out i got BDD (not amazing and annoyingly the B was one mark off an A!), i remember being interviewed for the local paper and getting my picture taken :p I was quite chuffed that i was probably the only non A grade student who go into the paper!

I did Psychology, Health and Social Care, Biology and Media for my AS studies but soon found i was abysmal at biology (and as a result struggled with aspects of psychology-theories i was fine with but actually biological side not so much). So i dropped that. Media...well i did that only cos i needed another A Level (had to have 3), i'd planned to do Psychology at uni, but obviously realised that wasn;t going to happen. I found i actually enjoyed Media and in some ways excelled at it, when it came to uni choices i decided i wanted to do something realted to that but also wanted to study the practical element. In hindsight it wasn't a good choice for me, but at the time we were practically being forced to go to uni so i had to go with the subject i was best at at the time.

God it all seems so long ago now! It's 10 years this year since i moved to uni!

Code, you can;t be dognapping cute dogs :p Though i've been tempted before... :p (obviously i wouuldn;t actually steal someones pet), for now i'm content with having doggy cuddles off Swain's dog (she needs a thread nickname-any ideas?)

calley, hope the pain eases off soon. As for little spending sprees you've got to treat yourself sometimes...at least thats what i tell myself!
