That is SUCH a cute dinosaur, Pyxis! I want one!
Thank you for asking - I am home now, absolutely knackered. A very very rewarding week, musically and socially. I now have to go to work for 4 days, and then.... I'm going back on Friday to do it all again!
PS Ummmm............ https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/161194913/quirky-glitter-dinosaur-triceratops?ref=marketEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Oh, JM that is adorable! I would wear that! WaSp would insist on walking a few steps ahead if I went out with it but nevermind that, I love it!
Welcome home! I am so glad that you had such a good week, and you get to do it all again next weekend! Hopefully work this week will fly by!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I have times when I feel that way Faerie, I know it feels frightening. A psychiatrist explained it to me as when your mind has too much to deal with it closes itself off so it cannot be hurt anymore, although it feels awful it can be a safety valve.
Try to do something nice for yourself that calms you, cat cuddles? You have so much to deal with anyone would be feeling awful right now. It is totally understandable. We are all here for you, you can talk here as much as you need to. Someone is almost always around and I tend to be here at the odd night hours if you need company, please don't hesitate to post.
How about this? (and this goes for anyone here). If you feel you cannot put things into words just write "Hi". Then we will all know you would like company and can reply. I know I am very good at whittering on and on about anything really and would be happy to just talk about anything so that you don't feel alone, no response is necessary. If I am feeling bad but can't put it into words I often email my teacher friend and just say tell me something cheerful! He writes back with what he has been doing or what he has read or watched and it makes me feel better because I don't feel so alone without any pressure to speak about how I am feeling.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Come join me in the fort Faerie.
I appear to be having a little melt down tonight, feeling very detached from everything. It has got worse as the day has gone on0 -
Aw, Katy that's not good! How long is it now to the breakout of the escapee? Forgive me for being odd but I am excited about it!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

We are 35 weeks today, so another 5 weeks, although we both think she will be early. I'm half excited and half nervous.
I'm doing a lot of reading up on hypnobirthing, and am listening to some recordings. I'd ideally like to avoid pain relief if I can as I find a lot of medications make me sick, and I also hate feeling out of control. Since looking in to it I do feel a lot calmer though.
My only concern is, because of my anxiety I don't know how much intervention the hospital are going to want, which may mean things don't go the way I hope.0 -

That's a very good idea, WaS!
It also lets us know that that person is still around, but just not feeling up to saying anything, so stops us worrying!:)

I don't know whether to go to work or ask to be signed off for another week. I am in pain atm, but because I can still do things like load the dishwasher or walk the dog, I feel like I'm taking the p if I do that.
Going to work is better for my weight loss efforts, but I am still feeling pain and spending a quiet week sleeping/not being outside in the wind is appealing.
I have 10 minutes or so to decide as I need to phone the doctor at 8 to make an appointment.
ETA: decided to let the Dr make that decision as I probably need to increase my pills again. Appointment made. My GP has horrible hold music.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
