I think that's beautiful, Code!

One of the nicest so far IMO. I agree, accessorise with one of the colours IN it, and personally, I'd go very subtle ( like skin colourist) the shoes with that, to make legs long, long, long... I know it makes it a bit less retro doing that though.
I think its gorgeous.0 -
Wear it differently, with/without petticoat, belt, bolero, hat, jewellery, depending on how you wore it before.
You could also customise it, adding lace to the neckline or hem, sewing pearls, buttons or sequnis to highlight the design, even dying it, though it's not a dress to practice dying on!
If you feel comfotable wearing the dress, you'll have a much happier, relaxed day than if you are in one that you feel is too tight/low/whatever.
Are you wearing anything on your head? There is great scope! I was looking at an aamzing fascinator in the Heart Research shop yesterday, with big loops that you could look through, sadly I don't have a wedding to look forward too. Doesn't stop me from looking at gorgeous hats when I see them though!Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0 -
Phew. Sorted. After all that, I choose a dress already in my wardrobe. Very :money:
Maybe not. Have ordered short and long sleeved boleros (depending on the weather - this is Scotland and I hate being cold ) and need new shoes - I think you're right about the nude shoes LIR.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Or pink!

I'm not sure. If you can get accessories in the same shade of blue, I think that would make it very classy and dressy for a wedding!(I just lurve spiders!)

Yup, I agree that is THE dress Code! Hope you feel better soon, DA dog cuddles should help.
Our wedding was odd. My dress was a £30 eBay job, hubby made the bridesmaids dresses. I made the bouquet and decorations and we both made the buffet. We had a registry office ceremony and then taxi to the reception venue, some council offices that had a big ballroom. We had a ceilidh band and a handfasting ceremony. Our favours were gingerbread biscuits we made. We also made the invites and have now been asked to make the invites for his mums wedding.
We also made a ballpool and hid sweets in it and hubby made a coconut shy.
It was such hard work but well worth it. And cheap!!
Well done on the walk this morning Calley!
My exercise today has been chopping down a tree and cutting it up in to logs. Hubby is going to kill me when he gets home! Not sure it's a very 34-weeks-pregnant-friendly activity!!
Kitty looks so cosy Melly! I wish I had some suggestions for your situation but it sounds like you are doing everything you can.0 -

that was before he stretched blinked at me and demanded a love Katy.
The HA plan is that I will go away, my plan is to just keep throwing stuff at them, I feel slightly better today as I have formulated my plan.
Tomorrow I have an informal chat with a company I was headhunted for just before MIL died (so couldnt do it, they went with someone else) so I have had my eyebrows waxed, dyed my hair and have some semi smart stuff I can wear tomorrow.0 -

Absolutely NOT! Get yourself sat down with your feet up!
Your wedding does sound so cool though! We went abroad for ours, was so easy as we just had a 30 minute meeting when we first arrived to pick out flowers, cake, venue etc then turned up a week later to have the ceremony! Perfect! It was pretty out of the box in a sense, but different in that it wasn't your standard hotel wedding considering the fact that we were overlooking the sea!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
