I have such a good friend. I have just sat up all night with my american friend playing a very silly computer game together. She killed all the nasties and got meat for food and let me run around taking all the berries and carrots to enable myself to survive because she knows I won't kill anything even in a game. I had no idea what I was doing and my stupid memory meant I forgot things as soon as she told me but she basically played for 2 people so I could join in. We played for 5 hours and it was fun! My carer is due in 90 minutes so I may as well stay awake now and sleep afterwards. I haven't done anything like that for years and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Katy, your wedding sounds like it was so cool! I would love to go to a fun wedding like that. I'm kind of bored of going to the out-of-the-box weddings that my friends keep having!

No work today (stupid face pain) so currently have DA dog using my foot as a pillow while I figure out whether to return to bed or make a duvet cocoon on the sofa. The TV by the sofa has Netflix but the bed is comfier than the sofa.

Me too. I have to confess my wedding was out of the box. I really wanted to get married at midnight in the woods or by the standing stones with lanterns lighting the way, but DH thought that was "weird" so we got married at a hotel like everyone else. I also wanted to come down the aisle to the Imperial March from Star Wars but that got nixed too. We did our best to personalise it and we did have a ceilidh but so does every Scottish wedding, and our favours were Haribo. I think if I could go back, I'd do it very differently as it just blurs into every other wedding - the only difference really is the dress.

No looking forward to this upcoming wedding. I hate weddings where they get married somewhere then the reception is in a totally different region halfway up the country and it's a logistical nightmare to get between the two.

Ooh I love the purple one but it says it runs small so I'd need an 18 (it's amazing how much I hate myself when I type I need a size 18) and naturally, they don't have that Why us every dress I like available in every size but the one I need?

Oh that is pretty I'd pick out the blue in it (because I like to go for the not quite so obvious colour!) and get blue shoes, bag, shrug and fascinator to set it off. Or pink!

I don't think the blue was available - I bought it as a potential for a wedding last year and it was grey or pink. I think it might have to be that one.
