I love those shoes, Calley! (What does happen if you eat a whole red velvet cake?)
I am with LIR, code! I really like the dress she linked to! I had a similar one from Laura Ashley that I wore to BIL's wedding. After that I never wore it again because I can't handle myself in anything so pretty, I am still goth by nature and if it isn't black/red/purple and velvet or lacy I feel weird!.
I am so glad that you have a friend who is helping you Faerie. It is really important that you have the emotional support. Anyone in your circumstances would feel very alone and terrified and you need somewhere safe to share those feelings especially as I imagine it would be very hard to trust people now. We are here for that too and will always listen.
LIR, I wanted to thank you for a post you put on another thread about how people who manipulate others whether it's is through fantasy or otherwise aren't always just to be labelled 'bad'. I used to be very manipulative as a teenager and really I was just drastically unhappy. I didn't want to hurt anyone, I just didn't want people to go away and leave me. I still carry a lot of guilt from it, I will make a post about it one day.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Thanks WAS.
I feel uncomfortable about the trend in society to say its them they are x ( syndrome or manipulative or even victim of circumstance) when none of us are perfect. I'd like to see someone who thinks they behave flawlessly at all times, because, I have not met these people, and i know some lovely, wise, enlightened people as well as people less so. To be human is synonym for to be flawed.

I think everyone is manipulative to a certain extent. I know I can be and it isn't always a bad thing.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

faerie light, That "positive contribution to society" thing for bidding was new to me so I've just googled it.
Obviously councils vary in the criteria, but the one I looked up had an exemption for people with long term disabilities where any volunteering , regardless of the number of hours, would put someone in the positive contributions category. Obviously not do-able for you at the moment, but is it something you could look at for the odd hour in the future?
You've probably already tried it, but can't environmental health put a rocket under the relevant dept ref your shower problem? Good on your friend for contacting the MP, hope they're able to do something for you.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I like the less cutsiness of this. Nice neck line, and less predictable colour way.

Well I ate a whole one. And the next day my poo was red. I thought I must be really ill and then realised that I ate a red cake the day before :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm the same WaS! I think that's why I don't feel comfortable in dresses too, I feel weird in them as well. Once a rock chick always a rock chick.
On a totally different subject, the sound of people (read that as DH!) eating winds me up more and more! Most people can eat quietly....he can't and it's getting worse....clack clack clackty clack!0
