Katy - could be your bodies way of trying to tell you something like over tired/too much or too little of some chemical in you - so agree with Pyx - diary including all intake is a good starting point.
Have these weird feelings been worse/more frequent with the escapee? As that could indicate a chemical missing since the escapee is currently trying to steal all your good stuff?

Calley - Totally agree that lack of sleep skews everything - after taking a truck load of sleeping pills last night I got my first decent nights sleep in about 6 months - consequently I have done more in the last 4 hours that I have in the last 6 weeks - no joke. As always, after a decent nights sleep -I feel like a normal human being again.

I have the odd day like that. But they are to far and few between.

I know I would get what I call manic when I had a run of little sleep and do stuff that I can't believe that I did. I am lucky that the police have not been involved due to some of my behavior. I guess my ex is a bit more understanding than I give him credit for.

Can I put in a caution against stopping meds without discussing with doc first? I actually changed my meds about a year ago as I felt it was maybe those making the nightmares worse - so there are others you can try maybe? I take sleeping pills rarely, despite my problems, to avoid addiction, and I would rarely advocate them, however, in your current situation - a few sleeping pills might be in order. it is unbelievable how different everything looks and feels after 1 decent nights sleep. You are sooooo sleep deprived at the moment it is difficult to be confident about any big decisions - so at least consider running it through with doc or hubby or such before stopping the meds?

Thanks for your concern. funny you should mention husband I spoke to him earlier about it. I think as I have only been on the tablets a total of 6 weeks and on the higher dosage for 2 I think it should be ok.

I don't think I am even functioning at the moment. The house is a tip. I have not showered or washed my hair in days. Only did some washing yesterday because I needed clean underwear.

Anyone any cop at dream interpretation, just out of interest? I generally consider it a load of bunkum (along with many other things) but I'd be interested in knowing about this one and it might give everyone a laugh...

I've got a little section in my notebook now to record my weird feeling, thank you for the advice. Sounds daft, but thinking back on it now it seems to have happened most often when I have been sat facing a certain corner in my bedroom! It just gets more and more random :/

We have escapees name all sorted Flybaby, all will be revealed when we can confirm for definite whether escapee will be sporting a he-mullet or a she-mullet!

Calley, I know when I have been on various meds it has taken a couple of months to settle in to a routine that works for me. Sometimes varying whether you take your medication in the morning or evening can affect your sleep a lot. I would agree with speaking to your GP before changing anything, just in case they have other meds you could try, vary the time of day you take it/ split in to two smaller doses etc.
Do you feel the meds are helping your mood overall, if you are able to separate that out from the effects of lack of sleep? It would be difficult to tell I guess as you are so exhausted, but if you feel your mood overall is more stable then it might be worth seeing if your GP can tackle the sleep issue separately.

Feeling shattered already and only been up and about a couple of hours! Took Little Sod for a quick run in the woods, where he spotted a small terrier walking along a path down a bank. He went crashing through the undergrowth to go and say hello (despite me 'politely' yelling at him to get his furry behind back here!). Obviously something the size of Little Sod crashing towards you from a great height through undergrowth caused the poor little terrier to scream blue murder! I panicked thinking something awful had happened so waddled down the bank as quickly as I could to find the terrier screaming his head off, Little Sod cowering behind a tree wondering what was going on, and the terriers owner laughing his head off! Apparently small screaming dogs are the scariest thing ever, as I had the big furry plonker attached to the back of my leg for the rest of the walk.
Now sitting down with a cup of tea to do some meal planning. Got £25 of meat from the butchers so trying to come up with fun things to do with it (cooking-wise, not dodgy Lady Gaga meat dress ideas!).
    I have:
Stewing steak - was going to do a casserole for tonight and then freeze left overs
    2 Steak and onion pies
    2 pork chops
    1 whole large chicken
    2 chicken breasts
    Sausages
    Beef mince
    Bacon

DBS checks for volunteers are free, as far as I know.

I dream of falling out or crumbling teeth when I am really stressed. I don't know why.

I have to sift through some paperwork from when I got my diagnosis, for a couple of research projects I am volunteering for. What should have been an hour of simple form filling took by all day yesterday because of how it tapped into some of the feelings of fury and frustration that the assessment process aroused.

I still think sometimes that someone is going to turn around to me and take away from diagnosis by stating I had misunderstood what I was being told. I don't like my diagnosis but it was a lot better to have that understanding and scope than the vagueness if no diagnosis, thinking it was normal.

Am irritated with DH today. I feel like I am working so hard to get ahead of myself and the harder I work, the less he wants to help or do. One of us is being really unrealistic, and it may just be me! Shift over, duvet fort folks...I'm coming in with strawberries (and cream).

My DBS check was free when I volunteered.

I have just treated myself to a massage, courtesy of groupon. I first started going when I was very stressed to remind my body what relaxed felt like. Was feeling out of sorts this morning, and am now just very chilled. Ufortunately I have a Gitdog to walk so I suspect that the effects will be short lived.

Eta - apropos of nothing, I caught something on the radio this morning about a girl with autism being told by a psychiatrist that people with autism can't act due to the nature of the condition. Doesn't seem to stop Daryl Hannah.
