    Hi all,

OH is back to work.. as soon as I found out he went back! Work were ringing him everyday but he's very good at ignoring his phone!!
He went to his GP and got a retrospective sick note explaining the depression side of things so hopefully they understand..

Unfortunately, his mum isn't in a position to financially support him, even if she was, she wouldn't help.

When I first found out what was going on, I was obviously very angry so I told him he needed to stay with his mum for a few days - his mum let him stay for 2 days and then said he needed to leave - even though we were on the verge of ending our relationship.. but luckily for him, I said we could talk and try and work through all the problems - so at least he's not homeless!!

In regards to overdrafts and finances - he already has an overdraft which he's gone over this month.. another thing he doesn't tell me.. I have to go looking through the bin to find letters which says his D/D has failed to pay for his car tax and that he's over his overdraft! I know he's not doing all of this to be malicious, he's doing it because i'm such a worrier and he's trying to save me from worrying but this all makes it worse for me!

He's waiting on a phone call today about a potential new job.. He had a job interview last week for a Deputy Manager role with a £5k salary increase - which will help massively!

If I get some more time off work during the summer hols, I will probably get my sister to come down. She's probably more than happy being at home where she can go out with friends whenever she wants.. the weather here is pretty pants and she'd hate it if she couldn't do a lot due to the weather!

    xx

Well, Calley, you've realised the problem! That's great!
Admitting and accepting that there's a problem is three-quarters of the way to fixing it!
Could you give your cards to your husband like you did before, to stop you using them?

I could do. And just take some cash out once a week. But its not a long term solution.

I don't have loads of stuff. But I do have enough for what I need. Most of what I have bought recently is household stuff, like plants for the garden. And loads of crappy food I don't need to be eating.

I suppose I have just had to make do and mend for so long its got to the point where I would like to replace stuff. I have decided that I will save all my amazon vouchers from the surveys I do to buy more furniture like my sideboard as they do sell it. That way I am not spending my own money.

I have enough clothes. I got 6 pairs of jeans up stairs 3 size 16 and 3 size 14 ever the optimist . They cost £5 a pair so thats £30 worth of clothes I can't wear. Also I am got a lot of freebies in my makeup. So what I really don't think I will use I will put up ebay and sell. So make a little back to cover the the cost of what I bought.

I could sell all my toy VW vans and beetles. But I was given a lot of them by ex and its something that I want to keep collecting when money is a little bit better.

A lot of what I need to do in the house is just time and I have the stuff to do it so no excuse really.

    Yours

    Calley

WELCOME to rjh and sidefx :hello:

I have spent some time today trying to raise a small claims court thing against the builders who did our roof. However, it's complicated - the address on the paperwork we have for them doesn't match the company number or name, the company name seems to lead to another company name and number...... Forged notepaper, anyone?

It never will be. And shall I tell you why. its hidden away in peoples head.

People can understand cancer, heart attacks and broken bones.

But not mental health as its scary and people want to run away from it. Also unlike the above it can take years to get a correct diagnoses as well its not better in a few weeks.

You know when a broken bone has healed as the cast comes off!!!!

    Oh calley,

Please let me believe that at some point there will be brain scans and chemical tests for mh disorders.

Now, remember not that long ago we linked into some gorgeous shoe websites? I need to look at them but I can't find the posts. Can anyone help?

It would be nice. But we know more about space and under the sea then we do about the human brain.

its like when you have a stroke. Everyones is different because different parts of the brain are damaged. So you have no idea what the end results will be and how better you will get.

The same with MH as different people can have the same thing but will not effect them in the same way.
