I drove 50 odd miles to do a monthly shop for an elderly housebound friend and spend a little time chatting with her.

Just to report that the K-nex I got for my friend's daughter had the motor inside and it works! Her daughter was building the model and she's really chuffed. Got a big hug from my work mate to say thanks.

I was sat in reception at a customers and a gentleman on crutches was working his way towards the door so I got off my bum and held the door open for him.

Not shouted at all at my DD who is on study leave for GCSEs. For next four weeks. Then whole of sumer ..... Urghhhhhhhhhhh

Today, I walked my mother in law's dog. He's a very large cross breed, so this is not something I do lightly. She was happy, her dog was happy, and I got some exercise.

Bad thing I've done today - I've been really lazy and dodged a lot of housework. Must try harder!

Stood up to someone spouting homophobic nonsense. Had just met a lot of new people and was trying to make a good impression, so this was a big deal for me.

Good things: I helped a lady with a baby buggy down some stairs at a tube station this morning and have just helped a very cute japanese girl with the heaviest suitcase up a staircase.

I regretted it as soon as I attempted to lift it, My wife can pack but this japanese lass takes packing to a whole new level and it took all my strength to ensure it didn't look like I was struggling. :cool:

Bad thing: I have recently nabbed 3 of my former boss's best customers and I heard he has been binned off today for failing to meet his targets. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Bad but karma at its very best so hey ho. :beer:

Today has been spent sorting boxes of stuff to go to the local charity shop.
