Morning everyone, beautiful sunshine outside, hope its the same with you!

Going to take DS1 out somewhere this afternoon and no arguing. He is very unhappy at the moment and we just dont know what to do with him. Not sure what DS2 is up to today. Oh and he came home at 7pm last night and ate his tea at 9pm! I was just pleased it hadnt gone in the bin.

Last day at work before a few days off, better go and make myself presentable.
  • Morning everyone - up early as I MUST stop prevaricating and complete this paperwork or else the money fast of the last 21 months will never come to an end! Need to print off some forms so glad I managed to sort the printer myself yesterday - DH is not very quick!

Hugs to everyone needing them. Mrs M-P I have Mary B's baking book and that has some lovely recipes especially for traybakes. Sultana and orange went down very well at cricket one time. PM me if you'd like me to scan and send some?

Have a great day everyone. Museum all day for me so must get on!

JTTOU, that's very kind of you. I've just googled and the recipie is actually posted on the web so I'll get it from there thank you for the recommendation.
Bad that I'm still in bed knitting a bootee, with my iPad. I've promised neighbour I'll get these finished over half term so plan is to get them out of the way and over to here's today. I've got a feeling these will be too big and I'll need to knit them again but smaller, if so I'll tell her to keep these for growing into, I can't be bothered to pull baby stuff down.

Bedrooms not looking too bad but I've noticed an area that needs redecluttering again. The shelves in the wardrobe I keep photo albums, stitching stash and stored toiletries etc on could do with decluttering.
DD3 has also turned her old room into a storage bay, she's landing on doing a carboot soon and bags of stuff keep appearing. They live in a flat so things they are given to sell or they've cleared out keep appearing here as it's easy to bring a bag at a time down from the flat but they don't want to be loading up for a boot from theirs so it just keeps piling up here. I've told her as long as the boot gets done this side of our holidays I'm ok with it, but I don't want it stored indefinitely (I've got enough of my own clutter!)

    Morning everyone.

Dailies and bathroom today. Need to nip to the shops for a few bits. I'm going to get up a bit earlier and have a walk as I want to declutter a few pounds. Weigh in at SW later.

DD coming for lunch. So will hoover living room after she has been.

I need to get onto the council again as we have had no street lights for 8 weeks. Not getting any response from at all.

My surname is relatively simple but I have a Z rather than a S so I have to spell it. You wouldn't believe the combinations we get from some people
DD1 and I have had breakfast and she's gone to work. I have to wake DD1's boyfriend up at 9. I'm taking him somewhere for him to do a test thing to get a certificate so he can work on building sites instead of just in the workshop, he's a welder. He should get it easily enough he's smart. He passed his drivers test the other day and had only had 25 hours worth of lessons :)
DW is on, I'm just finishing my apple & pear tea (I miss coffee :( ) then I'm going to phone my mum to get her to remind DD2 that I want her home by 10 to do the jobs she didn't bother to do yesterday like asked and that she won't be going anywhere til I get home.

Boddy our street lights got turned off for a while then swapped to white light ones that now get turned off during the night. They are now only on till sometime around midnight and in the winter come back on for early morning but during the midnight to about 5am there is only one lamp on in our whole road that's opposite a pull out at the back of the shops. It's very errie if you have to be out during those times.
