    Happy anniversary LW!
    Congrats on the fireplace pigpen!

I have cleaned kitchen windows. I am hoping that will be the last time I gave to clean them! Fingers crossed! Also found the key for the living room windows so did the outsid of those today!
Have also cleared a shelving unit in the kitchen so that can go in the garage which gives me a corner to start stacking more boxes! Hey they might as well take over another room! Can't fit anymore in study and ds2s bedroom and our room can't really house many. It is big enough but what with built in warderobe a, drawers and ensuite. It is difficult to stack them so they are not in the way!

Just going to hoover the stairs and the corner in the kitchen and then hubby can put some of the boxes there later :T

    Left to do...

    Sweep and mop hall floor
Delete 10 dead links out of your favourites
Do at least 15 minutes of filing

Right, I think that's me about done for today. In addition to the list from earlier, I have now:
    1. Cleaned the loo (I did the sink yesterday so that didn't need doing)
    2. Packed up some bottles and jars to take to the bottle bank tomorrow
    3. Washed a second batch of towels
    4. Put the bread machine on for some home-made burger buns for dinner
    5. And had a long chat on the phone to my sister, who is thoroughly enjoying being home after several weeks in hospital ;j
Back after a very long break!
  • quick update - coffee morning and book sale went well and I had a lovely walk looking at the haunts of dear departed relations before going in for my actual shift this afternoon.

Most of paperwork checked and completed, just need to do a covering letter. DH making our evening meal and I am wondering what to do first!

Happy Anniversary LW, and congrats on fireplace and all the ebeast listings Pigpen.

Happy Moving in Anniversary Mr and Mrs LW.

I've been kondoing and gardening. For the first time in years there is almost no piles of paperwork on the DR floor, some is on the table waiting to be dealt with tomorrow, floor looks very odd. I am determined to make enough space in there to get a new table.

DS1 and DS3 away to cricket training, DS2 on his way home, exam went well so he is happy.

Cricket club meeting in an hour.

    Loads achieved today
Lots binned recycled or sorted for CS
Bathroom is so tidy when I was dysoning I lifted a screw in the door runner, Ds2 came home went in the bathroom but the door wouldn't shut (because of the screw head) he stood looking confused and said why have you put a new door on the bathroom it's the same as the old one but brighter you could have just painted it.:rotfl:after realising what was causing his problem I popped the screw back in so the door would close and pointed out it was the same door that we always had. Just had a wipe over. I honestly didn't think it was that dirty!!!
Dysoned all through, funnily enough while I was doing it the phone rang it was someone offering to service my dyson for £14 instead of the usual a £40, I told them no thanks DH does it, love to know how they know I'd got one it was second hand about 10 years ago. Mil commented she'd had a call last week about hers so whoever it is they are ringing round. ( they offer to come round your house and do it)

Tea is sorted and Dh is just bringing the washing in as its starting to rain. Going to do tea then get that bootee an up and make the laces.

Wool finding vibes for you pigpen if it hasn't turned up yet, there can't be many mo hiding places for it how much you are flinging

I fessed up and told OH I had binned his apparently 15 YEAR OLD !!!! Aftershaves.. no wonder they smelled hideous.. I will find him one that smells good on him, I'm usually very good at it.

    dinner scoffed

Moomin home <3 Quaverface at her friends until tomorrow evening. So tomorrow will be fun..

Have to be soliciting by 11am :p .. so I will have DD2 watch the pinks while OH drops me and Moomin off, then I will go do my stuff.. she can sit in the waiting area with the ipad.. the doors have security releases so no one will steal her. I will then take her shopping for 'girl underwear' and get pants for Quaverface and then OH can come collect us.. or we might go for ice cream or something first :p

I may load the books into the car for dropping at PDSA.. though.. I have to sort towels and bedding so might wait until I've done that as I'm sure there'll be lots to fling... I just want them gone!

New knitty project tonight.. there is a pretty wrap cardy I want to do for DD2.. and a billion other things

    Happy anniversary :happyhear LW
Calming thoughts to everyone who is stressed.

I started the day with a blonde moment. Rushed out of house thinking I'd be late for gym, remembering to post letters on the way. Booked in at the desk "body attack please". "you mean body pump" said receptionist. "no - body attack". "That's not till 10.30. It's only 9.30". Aagghhhhhh. I'd specially timed it to do the 10.30-11.30 then the half hour class so I could go on to uni for a 1pm meeting. Ended up doing the pump and about 45 mins of attack before my legs started feeling wobbly.

Came home from meeting and did 3 things off garden list.
Need to vacuum bedroom soon as naughty mouse has nibbled the cork between the flooring and the wall, leaving bits (of cork) everywhere. I thought I heard it close last night.

No "scheduled" work tomorrow. Suspect I won't be going to gym.

    Happy moving anniversary LW x

So DS went home with gramps earlier, and they go to London tomorrow (sorry LW you can borrow him next time, he's going on a little jolly!). Dad and I went to my mums, had a chippy tea - I was "good" and scraped the batter off, had mushy peas and no chips ;) - stepdad split DD lip  aww he's mortified, hes a big bear of a man and she's a teeny little girl, lol, he only picked her up and her zip poked her right in the mouth. I don't know who I felt more sorry for! He gave her some sweeties by way of apology. She's fast asleep now...

So. The spare bed is back in its bedroom, with a new mattress, but no headboard as yet. The blind is up, plus the mirror, and the drawers are back in. I'm going to make the bed and titivate in a little while. The nice part :)

Then I'm going to bring all the finished with bits, steps etc back downstairs. And that will be that for today!

    Welcome back CCP

I wish someone did it that cheap in my area, mine needs doing :(

Had a bit of a pants day. Took DD1's boyfriend to his test, traffic was terrible, the barrier was down at the station so we ended up getting there by the skin of our teeth. I dropped him off, I parked in the car park to wait for him. He wasn't that long. He failed :( The print out they gave him didn't even say what he failed on! I feel kind of responsible, maybe if we'd got there quicker . . .

Dropped him off then came home picked DD2 up and went shopping for some bits. Then dropped her at her friend's where she's staying the night.
DD1 came home from work and wanted to go shopping to primarmi so apart from cooking dinner and doing the DW I haven't done anything :o
