  • Hi all,

Back from holiday which was wonderful! Now back to reality, paid stuff tomorrow. Not managed to read back all thread but happy anniversary lw.
Stayed in a lovely, nicely decorated, uncluttered cottage. Found it very easy to keep tidy and clean. This was new for me, as previously when staying in a holiday cottage I still found it hard to keep tidy. So all the trying to fly over the years I think is gradually having an effect. All I need to do now is make my own house as uncluttered, and finish the renovations. Oh dear. Maybe we should just move.
Not doing lists until weekend as now off to mums for two days so she can looks after children while I work and OH can catch up with his work.
Now carrying on unpacking car. I am doing it properly for the first time ever. Usually I an driving round with holiday stuff in boot for weeks. Not this time!

Hi all, after lurking for a little while I joined last week, those of you who are observant will notice I have a different username (needed to change it due to annoying ex who I am having to get a non molestation order for) I'm not entirely sure he will stalk me on here but I'd rather be safe than sorry, so I'd appreciate it that if you do make the connection you don't mention my previous username, I am in the process of getting rid of identifying posts.

Anyhoo got nothing really done last week and this week has been stalled due to going to a concert on monday and being exhausted yesterday.
I'm working to my own list this week and that has been helped by DS1 completely decluttering and tidying the hallway (motivated by wanting his gf to visit on friday :T)
I'm about to declutter the sitting room as cleaning it is impossible in this mess, it may be late but I'm a bit of a night owl so I'm gonna put nashville on and do it while I'm watching that.

Glad to hear that everyone is getting so much done.:)

  • Morning everyone - been up ages - I am supposed to be sewing puppy bed to finish it ready for weekend - but ended up culling emails as Sk* have now put days months and years on their inbox so it is obvious how many trillion I have!!!

Need to complete important papers but have to phone first and may be late for vol job this am as a consequence - oh dear. You all seem to be getting on just fine so are making me feel somewhat guilty that I have halted. I hope to catch up with you all this afternoon!!

    Morning everyone.

    Bathroom done and dailies yesterday.

Must do the living room today. Need to get up early as meeting DS at 10.30 to go shopping. I'm dog sitting for friends this afternoon. She is a lurcher/deerhound. I'm not a dog person but she likes me and I like her.

Apparently the fault with the street lights is the underground cables. Strange as they were working before they put the new ones up. They told a neighbour they would be fixed in two weeks. That was four weeks ago.

Welcome back returners and anniversary wishes for the LWs

    Hugs where needed.

    Morning everyone

I have a couple of days off work but forgot to switch my alarm off and once I was awake that was it. Decided to get up and do some paperwork that needs sorting, however have just been browsing on here so far!

Going away tomorrow for the weekend. DS has asked if he can have a friend to sleepover tonight, he is driving me batty with this at the moment and I am going to say no because I can see him getting no sleep and being tired and grumpy for the next 2 days.

We are also having problems with our rescue dog and visitors which I really need to try and do something about. He becomes very excited and barky when anyone comes in the house and I worry that he will bite someone. OH says thats just me worrying though and he is probably right!

    Need to get on.

    Morning all

I stripped our bed when I got out of it so I'm about to set the WM and think I'll change the duvet to the lighter one, well it is June next week!

More paper to kondo today and I want to go through some books and toys with DS3.
