Morning. My Dad have an appointment at the doctors today so have to take him and my Mum.
I'm hoping to get the last bit of the garden strimmed. Then I can rake up and green bin it now it's been emptied this morning. I'm going to give it til the weekend (fingers crossed no rain) to perk back up then I'll lawnmower it.
Still have the hedges to cut but I'm hoping either the girls Dad or DD1's boyfriend will come and do that for me
I also need to go food shopping and to the post office to pay some bills but I plan to do that when DD2 get's home and she can come with me. She's always moaning I forget to buy stuff she needs so now she can make sure I don't!
So much to do in the house I won't bother posting my lists

Morning All
Well 1st load of washing is on the line although it looks a bit grey, I'm hoping it's going to stay dry. I've also posted some AS stuff on FB which I've had over a year and never got round to selling it (I bought a job lot of which I only wanted a couple of things but it was cheaper than buying them individually). There's some more stuff I want to sell too so I may try and get them on later. I think I'm staying in today to try and get some jobs done so I'll see how much I manage to do. Another 2 bin bags of stuff went to the CS yesterday and a bag to my brother so I am still trying to do some decluttering.
Have a good day all

I'm slightly behind you JJ my first load of washing is still in the wm.looks dull but dry here so hoping to get it out soon.
Pleased with yesterday's progress, lots of kondoing and decluttering done. I've got more planned for today but have to go with mil for an injection this afternoon so hope to get it all in this morning.
Took the bootees over to neighbour, she was really pleased, and it's got some wool out of the house so I'm pleased as well.
Got a Half ball of cream I might use up making squares for Nepal if I get time later. (hopefully if the Drs are running late I'll make a start there)
Another macaroon order has been placed by DS1 for the weekend so need to get more eggs while I'm out.
Can't do anything in the lounge as Ds2 and a friend are asleep on the settees it was a gaming sleepover last night.
Better go and find something to do or the morning will be gone.SPC~12 ot 124

I have DD2 and a friend snoring in the front room.. that sofa bed was a good idea!
Solicitors at 11.. I have a loooong list of reasons he should count himself lucky I allow them to go and a looooong list of people willing to put forward character references for him.. including 6 of his own children.. 1 seeing a psychologist and 3 had/have counselling over his abuse, makes a scary read if I am honest... and then sorting undies for Moomin and Tiddles..
I made a start on a cardy for Dot last night.. just hoping I get it finished before it is outgrown!
Pixie at 21 months is taller than my grandbeast who is 3 next week! I have a giant baby!
Pixie spent the night in my bed, I am more tired now than I was when I went to bed!!

I don't have a sofa bed or I think some of the friends might just move in!!! Ds2 and friend are snoring on adjacent settees
Hope everything goes well at the solicitors, it's sounds like you have everything in your favour. Most importantly facts truth and witnesses!
Had to smile at your giant baby, I think that about my DGS he's now 7 weeks old and in size 9-12 month vests and babygrows:eek: DD2 partners children are 5 and 7 and very petite, I think he will be bigger than them by the time he's a toddler. We do seem to have the tall Gene our side Ds1 is 20 and 6ft6 and DS2 is 15 and already taller than me and most of his teachers. I'd guess he's about 5ft9
I'm just thankful they don't need telling off I'd have to stand on the stairs to do itSPC~12 ot 124

Narco- wow! I bet you will ache in the morning. Back to back gym classes!
Not too bad, although I know I've had a workout! It isn't that long ago I was doing 2 or even 3 classes routinely, it's horrifying how you lose fitness so fast and how much worse it is when you get older (I used to be very scathing about people who said that!).
So far:
- one load washing on
- all upstairs bins emptied
- bed stripped and 2 piece duvet separated; as Dusty says, it is nearly June
- paperwork gathered together from last week's assessment and filed
Plan for rest of day:
* bedroom is my room of today
*get rid of at least half the tasks from 'flagged'emails as to my horror there are 22 needing action
*garden list
*several of the 'flags' involve paperwork needed to be done today
When that's all done I'll do a reassessment.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Suggestions on how to deal with a large frog please. For years, literally, I've been intending to sell 2 saddles (horse not bicycle). I got as far as taking photos, meaning to put them on G*mtree as I don't want to post them. Now I am sitting in front of the site about to upload - BUT what do I do when someone enquires? Clearly they will need to try the saddle on the horse. Do I go with them so they don't run off with it? Take a cheque and agree if saddle doesn't fit I will give it back? What if it's a dud cheque? Say cash only? I don't have a suspicious nature, but I feel I should be careful as we're talking about hopefully up to £400 for one.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0

I have seen saddles and horse stuff at the carboots so they do sell. Is there not a stables or something nearby you could sell them through? I would say cash with the offer of refund within a certain number of days if it doesn't fit.
I know nothing about horses or their wear so can't really help. Is there a size or way of measuring to give a rough idea of what size horse they will fit?
I hope you can sell them soon and get what you want for them.SPC~12 ot 124

Hope the sols all went swimmingly pigpen x
Just me n DD today. Granny sent her a bag of goodies so she's sat surrounded in little girl paraphernalia. DS just called from his open top bus - aww he said he's the luckiest boy in the world! The bus company are treating him like a VIP and he's even been in the cab of the train. What a little sweetie:A
I've let DD have a rummage through my jewellery box. There were a couple of beaded bits she wanted - nothing too fragile so I let her keep those. We've had stories and lego and played frozen happy families lol. She's happy enough tottering about in her new swimmies.
In between I'm trying to get the house back to normal after all the decorating and deliveries. So I'm off to vac upstairs!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0
