Well the solicitor actually LAUGHED at the ridiculousness of the BS WC spouted.. it isn't going to be cheap but my girlies are worth it and if I have to sell the shirt off my back to keep my girlies safe then that is what I shall do! I have skills I can utilise to get some money in if I need to.
On a plus note Moomins DLA has been awarded until she is 16! That is a massive relief tbh I wasn't sure she would still be eligible but that means if we can manage to save a deposit we can have a new motability car foe the foreseeable.. ours expires in December.. It may be cheaper to do that then get finance for ours and pay tax/MOT's/Insurance etc.. I need to research the options there.
Bras bought for Moomin.. M&S range is very poor.. I intend emailing to complain.. I forgot to take the shoes back too.. and I forgot to get OH to sign the legal aid form so I need to do that and we need a return journey.. Food first though I am STARVED!!
Chopped my own hair this morning, I wasn't very brave and only did a little but I really want another 8 inches or so off.. waist length now after I took about 6 inches off!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Sounds like you have a very solid case, pigpen - hope all goes well.
I'm feeling rather Bagpuss-ish today (YA-A-A-WN!) but so far have managed to:
Thrilling Thursday - Kitchen of Kreation
Level One
Open the windows and let in the light (we could clean them but this is simpler!)
Clear and wipe the worksurfaces & table
Level Two
Wipe the little appliances and put them back in their homes
Wipe over the cupboards and large appliances
Plus cleaned out and bagged up some more jars to take to the bottle bank tomorrow.
When I've finished my current cup of coffee I still need to:
Level Three
Sweep the floor (I CBA to wash it today)
Empty out a grotspot and make it beautifulBack after a very long break!0 -
Hi all x
piggers so pleased that everything went well with the solicitor x
Give marks hell when you email. I was made redundant twice because the took their contracts abroad.
Kitchen done and my oven is like brand new again. Chucked all the throws and cushion covers in the WM. Off to the ballet now and need to go via a supermarket on the way home to pick up some baking stuff.

Well, we are back from the farm. My mum and dad must think I have the naughtiest children ever. They were both running off and ignoring me and then whinged when I said they couldn't have an ice lolly. I know they are very familiar with the farm but still no excuse for bad behaviour. We had words on the way home. And I said both of them could spend 20 minutes in their rooms to give me a break!
Ds2 fell asleep on the way home so is now snoring on the sofa and ds1 is still in his bedroom. I said he could come up at 3pm but he is obviously engrossed in something. So I am just having a cuppa and enjoying the peace:beer:
I will finish my tea and then make a start on the kitchen!Grocery challenge-

Bossy sounds like your little man is having a fantastic time, really pleased for him.
Pigpen glad all is well with the solicitors. I take it you never climbed up and took that photo yourself then;)
DD2 was complaining about m&s undies yesterday she wanted a feeding bra they hadn't got time to measure so pick one and see attitude and the tankinis were in her words a joke. She went to bravissimo in the end and got both their with very helpful staff. Another sale lost.
Been Drs with mil, got there early as DH dropped me off on the way back work so I crocheted 3 squares while waiting for her to arrive. (She comes on the bus, I usually walk. Her mobility makes it a real struggle to get her in the land-rover just in case it seems strange we arrive separately)
Ds2 has just gone out so I'm having a cuppa in peace before ds1 gets home from work and starts playing splatoon again, it only arrived yesterday so novelty hasn't worn off yet.SPC~12 ot 124

I'm going to look at bravissimo and nag my mother to take us. I cant even wear M&S bras the straps are too far apart like you need Dallas shoulder pads to keep them in place! Figleaves are fabulous for nursing bras, they have some beautiful ones!

Change of plan: I ended up calling my mobile phone company to see about negotiating a new deal. After 35 minutes or so on the phone to a charming Scot (he asked me at the start of the call if he could call me by my first name - I don't know why he bothered as he just called me 'petal' :rotfl:), I have 10 times the data and a new, 4G phone for £4 a month less than I was paying. :j
After that I couldn't be bothered to go back to the cleaning, so settled for giving the floor a brief sweep and leaving it at that!Back after a very long break!0 -
Re bras - not tried them myself due to having ample boobage. But I've heard Primarni tshirt bras are excellent for youngsters and just £2. Ditto their nursing bras - heard rave reviews on a mums site about those too.
Upstairs is looking very calm, DDs room stayed tidy and she has fresh bedlinen - snoring away so clearly happy with thatI did post earlier then lost it so no idea what I updated and what I didn't
but both kids rooms done and lots of laundry but it's heavy showers here so it's mostly in the conservatory as that's all in sun at the mo.
I've just had a quick pickup in the LR, eaten some fruit and yoghurt, now I'm going to make a cuppa and go do my nails.
Parking is booked for airport but not yet printed, which reminds me, pigpen among your many hundreds of jobs next week, do you still have time to do the flylady lists, pretty please?
Might get my little case down (before doing nails) as I've started putting my washbag together (in one of the clear sealable baggy things) already. Mostly because I forgot toothpaste last time
Right, will set DW on and will head upstairs with a brew :coffee: help yourself!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0
