Well today is going to be fun.. I've spent half my waking time blubbering already.. cuppa made, pinks fed. OH seems to be ignoring how stressed I am over this name rubbish.. my head knows I'm being stupid, it knows it is irrelevant and doesn't really matter in the broad scheme of things but my heart feels something different entirely. I'm such a numpty. haha

Raining here too on DS2's dressing gown which has been washed 4 times, hung outside for a week and still smells like a rotting carcass. Any ideas??? It just stinks!

Calming vibes to your DS, Valli.

My DS1 had his tonsils removed yesterday and is fine. He has been signed off work for 2 weeks. The enforced rest will do him good!

It is pouring here too but I haven't got enough washing for a full load. The grass will not get cut today!

Made a bit of progress yesterday with paperwork, between shortfalls and chauffering DS1 and DH backwards and forwards. Must do lots more today, but have made a good start so far. No other flying to report :o

Hope everyone has a good day xxx

I agree bin the dressing gown Pigpen. With all the time, energy and money you've spent trying to get it right it would be cheaper just to buy a new one.
It hasn't started raining here yet but I know it's coming :( I have my throws in the WM but they can go on the airer and dry pretty quick.
I've just had a bath so I'll give the bathroom a quick S&S after I've drunk my ginger tea.
I'm meeting my friend for lunch again today and I'm considering nipping into Primarni for a pair of sandals. DD1 brought them the other day and said they were really comfortable. I always have trouble with footwear due to having dodgy feet as a child but hopefully these may be ok.
Be back in a bit with updated lists . . .

Morning all. Oops just noticed it's afternoon. Oh dear.

I have spent most of the last week sleeping. I don't think I have ever slept so much. I wonder how I will cope with work next week? Going to try and do some ironing done this afternoon....

    Hope everyone is well.

Last day of my week off and I feel like being lazy, helped by the miserable, windy, wet weather. :(

My list for today, such as it is:
    Level One
Strip off smelly bedding and sling it in the wash
    Level Three
Remove anything that should be elsewhere.. the main bedroom is NOT a shed!!
    Extras
De-flea any pets that need doing.. and their bedding!!!

    Plus:
Drop a parcel at the Post Office and collect an incoming one
Take the bottles and jars for recycling
Pop to the supermarket for food for me, and to the pet shop for food for the wild birds
Back after a very long break!

I was going to ask you how to kondo fold bras Narco

My reply would have been "badly"! It is the only garment type I've kondo'd so far that didn't take up less space afterwards. Having said that, they are now easier to identify than taking hold of one end of what looks like a gang of mating snakes and pulling! I have lots as I go to the gym a lot and seem to constantly have what I want in the wash. That's bras, not mating snakes...........

    Pouring with rain here.

Thinking of your DS Valli, my DS2 had a lump and fortunately it was fine, lad a cricket had one though which wasn't but it has been removed and he is back playing and fine now.

Ionafan, speedy recovery vibes for your DS

Cricket shopping done and last item ordered online as it was £10 cheaper like that.

DS3 has a friend here so I've just fed them, need to drop them to the park in a bit and pop into Mr L whilst out for a couple of bits then seeing a friend for a cuppa, I can see why I never get to the flying - oh DS2 and I have washed up between up and I have cleaned one toilet.

Just done an assessment so have time to chill (literally - it's chucking buckets and very cold here) and eat before new private tuition student arrives at 3pm.

Mr N just emailed our current window quote to another, recommended, local window man so we can just check the figure is 'average' . I'm bored of thinking about new windows; the number just represents several very nice holidays as far as I'm concerned but I know they are needed and will hopefully be warmer than the existing 20+ yr old ones. And not need painting. More important, I will get a better view of the birds because many of the old windows have 'blown' panes so it's like looking through a mist.

    Hi all x

So far I have decorated, boxed and dropped off the cakes. Been up the street to the bank sorted the direct debits and paid the other bills. Went to the fruit shop and the butchers too. I now have a stew, mince and a pot of soup on the go.

Need to get my kitchen tidied and square the LR up before I head out to work later. Can't do anymore washing today as the winterdyke is full and so far we have had sunshine, snow, hail and rain so I can safely say that summer is here!

Off to run DS2 a bath and direct him on the way to get there. I will introduce him to the soap too!

valli I hope all goes well with DS x
