I'll try again seeing as I've already lost 1 post - stupid internet!

    Morning All

Busy day today with all party stuff but I've woken up shattered and with a bit of a headache so not a good start. Just having half an hour in bed with my laptop then I'll make a start.

Yesterday I took a load of stuff to the CS, a couple of bags to my cousin's, sold some stuff on FB and did a tip run. I also had my haircut and my nails done which took up all of my morning!

I've still got loads to do around the house and paperwork and stuff and I go back to work on Monday. I also haven't got 1 free weekend in June..

    Brilliant news Valli!

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Morning flyladies. I've not been 'in' this week, sorry but I've been up to my eyeballs in paid stuff as needed to get everything up to date and handed over as I'm now on leave for a week, so I probably won't be 'in' next week either.

Anyway, I've had a quick read through, seems everyone is busy. Hugs/spoons etc where needed.

I've been up just over an hour. Me and the dogs are fed, I'm dressed. I'm about to do the washing up, hoover and mop through, then walk the dogs and get cracking in the garden.

Busy day as have bowls this afternoon and a night out with DH planned.

    Have a great day everyone.

But they work with strays and rescues and have been amazing with my poorly mogs. they are the only vet that has over night care.. most vets just leave all he animals alone overnight. They took my Hazel in at midnight when she was shot.. they were just fantastic.. the use towels, old bedding etc for comfy bedding and kitchen rolls for spillages and leaky pets ;) and of course.. food is always required.

Another PDSA fan here - never had cause to use them myself, thank the Goddess, but I know people who have, and I've supported them via their "Best Friends" programme for years.

I am looking at getting the childrens magazine thing for Tiddles, she wants to be a vet and I thought she might like it.

Feeling the need to add... ours has a bookcase where they sell books for funds.. I have 3 carriers to donate next time we are by that way.

Cuppa slurped, websites caught up on, Christmas shopping started.. (4 items from house of fraser sale :p), dead bird retrieved from the evil cat.. tbf, the stupid bird landed about 6 inches form the cat.. so she pounced!!

argh!! Boof the baby .. THEN I can crack on with my flingfest!

    Hi all x

So far today I have decluttered DS2 to work and DD to a birthday party. I've done a couple of loads of washing and flung them on the line. Washed the suite and put clean throws and cushions on. Run round the LR with a duster. I will Hoover before I go to work.
I'm thinking about making a start on the wardrobes when I get in from work. It's only a wee 2 1/2 hr shift so I might have some get up and go left when I get in!
Off to declutter some lunch then I'm away hi ho hi ho!

Dots handywork... drag the cistern off the wall.. and sprinkle rice krispies all over the kitchen.. twice...

    I can't afford this crap..

She spent 5 minutes in time out and is now screaming her lungs out running around the house like a wild woman!.. and OH has gone to the shop, alone..

Plumber coming at 2.. I feel so bad dragging someone away from their family on a weekend, I might just have him cap it so its not dangerous and come back to replace it..

Spare off cut of carpet is now in the playhouse on the second floor. It's really warm in there when the sun shines and both littlies went and had a lie down on the new floor :)
Dad has been and he adjusted the door too :A so its not sticking any more. We are now doing homework and made a start on a scrapbook of DS trip - he wants to take it to show and tell on Thursday so we'll do as much as we can then hand it to granny to help.

3 small washes done and out on whirli, and headboard has arrived so I'll go sort that soon...

Woken up at quarter to six this morning by the herd of elephants in the flat upstairs (it never ceases to amaze me how much noise that couple makes just walking around ); I had just decided that I wasn't going to get any more sleep so I might as well get up when they went out - slamming the door hard enough to make my windows rattle  - and, in the restored quiet, I fell asleep again and didn't wake up until half past ten. :o

    My plan for today:
    1. Spray some limescale remover on the kitchen window (the flat upstairs had a leak and covered my window in water every day for a couple of months, leaving it so limescaled I can barely see out)
    2. Run the hoover round the living room, bathroom and hall
    3. 1x WM for some clothes to wear to work on Monday
    4. De-flea the cat, as I didn't get round to it yesterday
    5. Wipe down a couple of mucky-looking inside doors

Then, if I can be bothered, I might continue my annual war against the campanula plants in the garden - they look lovely, but tend to try to take over the entire garden if not kept in check!
Back after a very long break!

Very pleased for your DS, Valli :)

Did some paperwork before breakfast, and then DH mowed the lawn before DGD1+2 arrived. We went out in the garden, they played at being bees and then baby dinosaurs while I planeted out Swiss chard, runner beans, a courgette, 6 very leggy tomato plants and 4 aubergine plants. Everything is in pots as my borders are chock full, and the pots can sit against the wall under the downstairs bedroom window in full sun after midday. DH played heffalumps with the girls while I cooked mince and pasta for lunch - every bit of it was scoffed in record time. Then the girls asked to go to bed for their afternoon naps - it's a bit of a novelty to sleep in the big beds here! But they do get up quite early, too. I think I will join them for half an hour on the sofa, as the sun is streaming in through the study bedroom window and I can't see to type properly if it's anything complicated..
