Dots handywork... drag the cistern off the wall.. and sprinkle rice krispies all over the kitchen.. twice...

    I can't afford this crap..

She spent 5 minutes in time out and is now screaming her lungs out running around the house like a wild woman!.. and OH has gone to the shop, alone..

Plumber coming at 2.. I feel so bad dragging someone away from their family on a weekend, I might just have him cap it so its not dangerous and come back to replace it..
OMG Piggers  She really is a total handful, isn't she? Did you get any further with getting some sort of assessment for her?

    Rampant Recycler Debt-free and Proud!
    Afternoon all :hello:

Sorry missed yesterday - the day just seemed to vanish down a big hole somehow :o

    Anyhows
Pigpen - I am absolutely amazed at how much you seem to have achieved this week. Brilliant
Valli - soo pleased to hear the worry was for nothing :)

I managed to clear the lists yesterday and did a bit more in the RoD. Actually filled two shelves with sorted files and boxes and marked where I needed another shelf in one of the big cupboards.

Today I managed to persuade DH to fix up new shelf so can carry on next week with sorting this out. He then disappeared with all the recycling to take to the centre and had his hair minced - much better. I s&sd the bathroom, made the bed, did WUDUPA and wiped around the kitchen.

We decluttered some lunch and then went to library via the repair jewellers in the town. I have eventually remembered to take in my Gran's turquoise ring to have the stone re-fixed and a ring DH bought me in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul to have made a tad smaller so I can wear it again. I should have them back on Wednesday :)

The football is on now (of course) and so I'm on here and just about to head off to make dinner. Nice and easy tonight as it's just beef Bolognese from the freezer with tagliatelli, salad and garlic bread.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend, ((hugs)) to all and sticks and spoons to anyone needing some

food scoffed so I shall find pjs and nappies and OH can get the girls ready for bed while I sort the loo.. its pretty grotty in there.

I might see if I can fill a couple more binbags while I am flapping about.. I really need to see more progress. I don't feel like I have done anything today while everyone was here.. I did fill another binbag for CS.. though I took 1 item out of the last bag I filled yesterday for grandpink.

    My shopping list is exciting..

  • Evening all,

Not a lot done today. Only done dailys and mowed grass, despite big plans. Boo. frizzle amazing running well done. I tried a bit recently but it was too hard. Dog enjoyed it though. pigpen omg re toilet, glad you got it sorted.
The reasons that I didn't get much done though was: lunch with friends, two lots of unexpected visitors with late birthday presents and nice dog walk. I am now drinking a glass of one of the presents, so not really too bad a day.

    Xx

1 sick DS2 been up with him for hours. Poor soul has a chesty cough and ear ache. I've dosed him up with parrots and given him a hot water bottle. I made him up a bed on the couch and he's fallen asleep. Here's hoping he gets a few hours because he looks shattered. I'm off to lie on the other couch and try to get some sleep.
