Boddy (((HUGS))) I know what it is to be left with little pawprints on your heart.

Even my "paying guests" iyswim, when they finally tread Rainbow Bridge, leave pawprints - I'll never forget Dylan, Sidny, Mary, Peggy-Sue, Candy, Cameron, Sadie.

When Penny-Dog trod Rainbow Bridge, I gave all her remaining food, treats etc to a chap I used to see selling the Big Issue, for his dog Marmite; I always used to stop and chat to him, as he was a fellow Pagan, and Marmite was a real sweetheart.

Back to now - Alfie has settled in very well, and is a lovely placid fella; but I suspect he's going to be a major hair-shedder, so the Dys0n will be getting a run for its money during the next week.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

CY can you see your doc and get signed off for a bit more rest?
Valli hope everything turns out ok for DS x
FFP sounds like you've worked hard on those cakes x

Not achieved a lot here today although we have been out for a few hours. Collected DS. He is over-excited, over-tired, over-sugared (someone let him have a whole can of coke to himself at 6pm yesterday so it was gone 10 by the time he went to bed and he's still been buzzing from it today ) today hasn't been his finest hour. Despite trains, buses, treats and being generally pampered, he decided it's "not fair" that his sister (who didn't get to go on the trip) got some new pens, a swimming costume and a toy safe.
He's had a small flea in his ear and a warning of no more trips if that's his attitude.

He really is goosed though, normally chatters and sings in bed, but he was tucked in and silent by 6,30 lol. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and put it down to tiredness...

I've done an online shop to come Sunday night with easy meals for granny (not that she can't cook, but thought I'd try make life easy for her while I'm away).

Think her headboard was attempted delivery today - fingers crossed they will come back tomorrow. We're having a day at home - ironing needs to be done! And I think my dad might visit.

Tonight I'll empty the bin and wrestle with two sleeping bags to get them back in their slips lol

Oh, and a good idea was had today, I'm still very ungratefully hoping my brother doesn't send me spa vouchers for my birthday, but I idly mentioned as a joke to MIL about selling them. Well, she told me that the hospice that looked after DH has an auction each summer as a fundraiser- so problem solved, if he does send anything like that, I can donate with a clear conscience, safe in the knowledge that it will benefit some other family :)

I'd like to just say well done to Pigpen :T I've just seen on f@ceb00k the list of stuff she's decluttered :eek:
Where as I personally haven't done much :o Had lunch and a bit of shopping with my friend. Brought a large plastic box from the £ shop to rehouse all our medical stuff, which I haven't finished sorting yet, but will eventually be moved to a different cupboard (WIP), 2 loads of washing and drying, 1 load in the DW. Sorted some paperwork and decluttered some important phone calls.

MAJOR flinging going on in here!! I have..

    6 boxes for DD1.. gone.
1 binbag for the wheelie bin!
about 5 tonnes for Ebeast.. 100 items listed.. which is my mental limit so I get a week off from listing now.
half a binbag for my niece.
and 21... yes 21 binbags for charity shop!!!

I got out some non-dead towels so as the torn ones come through the wash I can wash them, dry them and send them off to PDSA
I got rid of ALL the child bedding apart from what is in use and 2 matching sets for the littlies and 2 matching sets for the larges.
I put all the stray and random bits of bedding in the cupboard and filled 2 boxes with ebay gubbins so it stacks much more neatly. I then filtered through the wardrobe and did a wee fling in there.. binned some hideous garments and listed some lovely ones on ebeast and took my clothes out of the suitcase and got rid of those too and refilled the case with spare duvets and bits.

I then.. yes I did more... vacuumed my room, the landing floor which has been unearthed somewhat and the girls room.. their room is lovely when it isn't full of rubbish and pencil shavings!

I put all toiletries stash in a stacking box so I know where it is and it is easy to access.

I have loads more to do on the landing, possibly another 3-4 days worth of sorting but I at least have room to sort it now!!!

I am now absolutely filthy and totally shattered and mentally preparing myself to sort some more landing tomorrow, I will need to trap the smalls in their bedroom so I can crack on though as OH Is threatening to leave me home alone with them again.. Dot is being super-crazy too! I may get him to lift down a bunch of stuff off the wardrobes so I can sort it out.

I WILL get this house under control!!

Great list of flingage, pigpen :T
Brilliant idea about the vouchers, bossy :T
CY, please take it easy and get yourself signed off work if you need to.
Men in white, Elastic? They're coming to take you away....

Just had a phonecall from my SiL. My brother is coming home in a couple of weeks' time - he's just got to learn to climb up and down stairs, because he wants to sleep in his own bed :)

I went to visit my friend this afternoon (not good) and this evening I have made a bit more progress with the paperwork. The garden has been well watered today; I just hope it dries out a bit overnight so that DGD1+2 can play outside tomorrow while I re-pot the tomatoes.

    Good night all x

DS has a harmless cyst. Dr had a good feel and then drew him a picture. This (revealed to me in McDonalds) caused a hysterical response from me as I immediately thought of the classic picture one sees as graffiti of male genitalia. thank you all for your concern/interest

    DD brought back from uni

    Been to chiropodist

Now have no hard skin. Also finally got clothes into weigh in.

Have also been chucking stuff I have 'come across' in my normal routine, 3 pairs of kiddies sunglasses for instance.

And have decuttered PTA takings to bank!
