That's me in from the paid stuff I'm absolutely shattered. I've fed the minions and myself and I now have tea.:D
DD has a birthday party tomorrow so I should get an hour or so to myself tomorrow before work to get some more boxes filled for the church's CS. I think I will need to bully OH into parting with some of his clothes, someone showed me a picture of him about 10 yr ago and the shirt he's wearing is still in the wardrobe  I shouldn't talk I still have a nightie that I bought to go into hospital to have DS1 :whistle:
I'm going to try to beat piggers mega total:rotfl: well done you :T that's a fantastic job :T

Right I'm off for a wash, jammies then I'm jumping into bed. Night everyone sleep well x

Bossy - that's a brilliant idea to declutter the spa voucher if you're given them again.

ETA Made £5.20 from the weigh in. And have just emailed the company to complain they weren't 'open' when advertised.

  • Hi folks,

Back from my mums, so will be flying with a vengeance tomorrow. Honest. valli brilliant news! pigpen I am amazed at your achievements.
So I got back from mums and the house is a dump. However, on the plus side the hideous and feeble cooker that was in the house when we bought it FIVE YEARS AGO, but we've been using ever since because "we will be getting a new kitchen soon" has gone! OH has sourced a second hand range type cooker and it is wonderful. Also as it is bigger we lost cupboard space, but, and I quote OH "I've Kondoed this draw and that cupboard so it doesn't matter"
Hooray! Can't wait to do cooking tomorrow, in an oven that will not burn/not cook everything.

    Plan for tomorrow:

Dailys including extra laundry to catch up from hols
Level one of everything from lists
    Mow grass if not raining
When dd1 is at friends party, go into town and spend my Birthday vouchers. YAY!

Wow pigpen! :T I'm seriously impressed. Sounds like you have had a productive day! Is the pdsa an animal rescue type place or a shop? I really need to declutter some towels but I dont want to throw them away!
Ionafan supportive hugs for you and your friend. Sounds like it's getting tough at the moment.

I hadn't looked at the list. Left the hous at 9, got back at 4, then did dinner for ds2, did my volunteer coaching and then went for a run. When I got back I had time for dinner, a shower, some ironing and a quick once over of the ktchen.

Bread is also in bead maker so I can have some toast about 10 am tomorrow morning. For anyone that Is interested in a couple of weeks I am doing a 24 hour team endurance run. Upshot is I need to do 4 or 5 5 mile runs in the 24 hours. Running off road through woods and at least one of them will be in the middle if the night so will need to wear head torch! It's great fun- I have done it for the last three years, but this year I am going on my own without hubby and kiddies!!:T

So this weekend I aim to do three runs in 24 hours to get ready for it. Run 1 was done tonight, run 2 will be done tomorrow morning and run 3 will hopefully be done tomorrow afternoon! Anyway, I digress, I will go and find today's list!

But they work with strays and rescues and have been amazing with my poorly mogs. they are the only vet that has over night care.. most vets just leave all he animals alone overnight. They took my Hazel in at midnight when she was shot.. they were just fantastic.. the use towels, old bedding etc for comfy bedding and kitchen rolls for spillages and leaky pets ;) and of course.. food is always required.

Another PDSA fan here - never had cause to use them myself, thank the Goddess, but I know people who have, and I've supported them via their "Best Friends" programme for years.

  • Morning al - up dressed and breakfasted and waiting to set off on our weekend!! So excited!

Well done Pigpen - that is totally amazing!
We don't have PDSA locally but our local animal charity accept towels and duvets.
Have read back but not taken in - so thinking of you all and hope the weather isn't as much of a wash out tomorrow as forecast - and just in case it is - enjoy today!

That must be a relief valli phew!

Well we are up and breakfasted - early but both kiddies stayed in bed all night so it's been a better one. DS had 12hrs solid and DD not much less!

Today the forecast is fine so DS bedding is in the WM already and I'm planning on getting a few loads out on the line today.

We might also give the playhouse a clean (inside) and continue weeding. I'm half sorted with packing but need to remember various computer cables etc. We're out from lunchtime tomorrow until about 5 so want to finish packing today really.
Still need to print my parking stuff!

    Morning all

    Valli great news.

DW emptied, WM about to go on, finishing my cuppa then an hour of froggy governor paperwork to start my day. Kondoed all of what I don't need of it yesterday and filed random bits but now have all the 'work' on it left to do.

I expect most of the rest of the day will involve cricket and I amy help DS1 out with teas depending on how grumpy he is not being.
