Advice please, sellers want 24 hours to move out after completion!

Im sure if the seller moves all the stuff into the garage they can come and go with just the garage key maybe.0

There was absolutely no way that I was agreeing to their request. They agreed that they would be able to complete on that date, so it's their responsibility to get their move prearranged. I will be very hesitant to agree to have vendors stay a minute longer than necessary. 'No can do siree but I'm more than happy for you to use the garage and have it all out by Saturday'.

Hoping the OP is far too busy moving their furniture into their new home though!
Hope it's gone ok.0 -
They're either busily moving/prepping to move or they're burying the body of the former owner!King_Slayer wrote: »There was absolutely no way that I was agreeing to their request. King_Slayer, I'd add just a little bit to the end of your sentence: ...all out by Saturday, otherwise you can collect it from the local dump.

You can jest all you like, but that's illegal as they'd still have a responsibility to safeguard the previous occupants' belongings and make it available to them to collect within a reasonable timescale.0 -

Hopefully you are now breathing a big sigh of relief that it's all over and you can start getting in and getting sorted.
