  • Hello everyone and especially newbies

I'm back from my 'holiday' at my friend's house and starting to feel better (I suffer badly with depression which hits me out of the blue and I become unable to function). It was lovely spending time with my friend and one of the best things was eating rich people food for three days!! One night we had fresh tuna and the portion sizes would have fed three people in our house - I scoffed the lot while I had the chance. We also had a Gü pudding every night - on the one hand I was appalled at how expensive they are for so little, but on the other hand I just enjoyed the treat!

Anyway, back to reality - HM bread, falafel and salad for tea... But it will be delicious and the best thing is that I'll be eating it with my lovely DH who I did miss very much!

Have a good day, everyone. I'm off to feed the washing machine.

Try the MSE Abbreviations thread. We have a few extra, special ones on OS (Old Style ;) ), too.

Make sure not to confuse your DW (Dear Wife) with your DW (Dish Washer)

Oooh, and OH is sometimes Other Half, other times Other Husband

    Afternoon campers,
Hope everyone’s fine and dandy, sending big cuddles to those how aren’t.
CSARINAKNIGHT – HAPPY BIRTHDAY, hope you have a lovely day with your friend.
THRIFTLADY- happy cooking, hope you get lots done.
SERENA- GOOD LUCK with the job hunting, hope you find your dream job.
MOOKYBARGIRL- WELL DONE on your weight loss. I did slimming world a few years back and lost 1 stone 11 lbs (it has crept back on again so could do with doing it again)
AUSSIELASS- your post about new ugly boyfriend made me chuckle.
Hello to the newbie’s, im pretty new myself, but everyone has been really welcoming and friendly.
Well I have taken ILO for a swim in the lake, done 2 loads of washing and after fits and starts have managed to clear the ironing basket, and wait for it …put it away! :p
Marley-my puddy tat, is now mithering me to death for his tea. He is 2 hours early, so he can take a running jump. Its OH’s fault he cooked a huge trout, realized he didn’t like it  (after stinking my kitchen out), so now the pets have had a feast and a half the past 2 days, and they can’t get enough of it.
will call in after if i get chance.
    chow for now

    Hey all.

I'm one of the 86. Been reading all your posts, but not really got anything to contribute. Life not interesting at the moment.

Rzl, I tried to view your dress, but I'm at work and the site was blocked - is it a tad risque?

    Happy birthday Csarina - enjoy.

DH is out tonight so once DD is in bed the house is my oyster. Think I'll have a cup of tea, a chocolate brownie from the batch I made last weekend, and watch a DVD. Ahhhhh! Luxury!

Off to my folks this weekend to collect DS. He and DD were supposed to go up for the week, but DD decided at the last minute she wanted to stay with me (she's only 2 1/2) so all my plans for time on my own and all the housework I was going to do went to pot. Never mind, it was nice to spend time with her on her own.

    Enjoy the weather folks!

    Hello All

Finally managed to get on here. On the late shift today and been running round like a mad thing!

    Happy Birthday csarina

Going to the circus tonight with a school friend I've not seen since we were 16! That's 7 years.

Got a busy weekend planned. Hoping to maybe view some flats tomorrow then working Sunday before my date:o

Treated myself to some lunch earlier and now I feel ill! Think I ate too much:D Checked my club card and I'm inline for around £22 worth of vouchers this time.

I opened a savings account nearly 4 weeks ago, and I'm still waiting for everything to arrive like paying in books etc. How long does it usually take?

    Hope everyone's ok
