Hi,

Lots of new flyers, hello and good luck. I'm up late. Mainly because the new boiler is being put in tomorrow (hooray I'm blooming freezing. Have I missed the summer somehow and it is December again?) and I've been trying to get the place looking ok in anticipation of the boiler fitters going into all the rooms to tinker with radiators (arghhhhhh). So the list has been on hold and I've been crisis tidying aka panicking. The only good bits are the drawers I've kondoed and they won't be looking in those.

Made a huge slow-cooker pot of bolognaise today and also three portions of mince and onions for DH. After that I did most of the kitchen :rotfl:

Must - do - Monday: kitchen and dining room
Sort a hotspot
Where is the mop brigade? Clean that floor!
Find 5 things to fling from the kitchen junk drawer


Try - harder - Tuesday: living room

Dust from top to bottom
Sweep or vacuum
Ditto the coffee table
Any other surfaces to clear?
Level 3
Polish a mirror



Hugs, sticks and spoons a-plenty if you need some

Morning everyone.

Living room got hoovered yesterday and I did the stairs as well. Got some bedding washed and hung up to dry.

Today I will get a bit done before I go to my voluntary job. Then I'm dog sitting for a friend.

Supposed to be thunderstorms here today. I hope not I'm not keen.

Feed birds.
Dust
Remember treats for friends dog.
Put book in my bag.

Morning all

Off to the paid stuff soon. Need to try to get an hour's flhing in when I get back. also need to pop to town and I said I'd see Mum this afternoon but she may not be upto it (she lost her wedding ring of 50 years yesterday and is obviously very upset, she is sure is dropped off when he got out the car, she heard something but despite 5 neighbours looking and DS2 and I going over and looking for an hour too nobody can work out where it has gone).

Managed to fix DD1s we for her last night, lol shed locked it and couldn't work out how to unlock the programmes. Quick look on YouTube hold a button down longer than she had already tried and mum is a hero. Easily pleased my kids!

Morning everyone - happy day! - have just booked an unexpected long weekend away in August with friends from overseas. I am so excited - memo to self to book more surprise nice things for just the two of us in future.


Off to SW in a little while but need to pop to Morry's for more plastic wallets. Have brought another huge pile of miscellaneous/ carp - paperwork down ready to sort!! It is going well.


Out with d sis this pm - were supposed to be going for lunch but she's cancelled that - hey ho it will be cheaper to eat at home anyway. Being ditched for her "friends first" policy once again!! LOL - well sort of!


Intend to fly later this pm so hope it stays fine - my topiary deer/buffalo/cow depending on how you look at it - has had a half haircut as the shears ran out of juice!!!

Been harassed by Dot, OH and FB ... I am REALLY tired.. my mother kept me awake an extra hour last night to rant about KH announcing his engagement to the dirty skanky prozzy.. I'm distressed enough about sharing a surname with that animal I don't need her making things worse... as a result it took forever to get to sleep (more than my usual 2 minutes) and I feel like I thrashed about all night.. according to fitbit I do.. unless Pixie is in bed, then I don't move and ache for 3 days afterwards lol.

DD1 and DS3 are in talks to change their surname so people don't think they are related to that baggage, they are discussing changing it to OH's.. that will go down well!

My eczema is starting to flare up.. utterly stress related as my season related one is just starting to heal.

Vodka for breakfast anyone?
