Morning all,
Thanks for the new list, I'm on it this week. No excuses. Off on hols for a few days on Friday so I want to leave it in a decent state. Hi to anyone new, and good luck. Don't get downhearted if you don't manage everything you plan. One thing from the list is better than nothing! (I need to take note of my own advice).
Right, just going to straighten the kitchen up a bit then off to do some paid stuff.
Have a good day x0 -

Dot is being REALLY hard work today.. screeching, spitting, throwing food, sitting on Pixie, running about while screaming like a wild woman, more spitting, buzzing (it is an awful noise!) and generally being quite dreadful.
DW on, lunch scoffed and not much else.. waiting for Tesco delivery then going to hide in the bathroom for a short time.. playing the 'how fast can I shower' game before OH has a breakdown.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I'm here in spirit this week; but I had a new guest arrive this morning, so obviously her needs will take precedence. She's a new client to the service, and this is her first ever trip away from home; she's a 9 year old Westie/JR cross, named Pippa, and she's an absolute sweetie. She was a bit stressed to start with, but a K0ng toy filled with sausage, a game with her squeaky toys and a cuddle seemed to settle her. We've had our first walkies, and she was as good as gold, walking very nicely with the mobility buggy.
I did manage to get another wall of the kitchen painted yesterday, including the bit above the sink - around the window, and also around the boiler. Also did about an hour in the garden, so my back's not too happy today. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I'm going to try again this week. I may not keep to list but as long as some tidying and some flinging go on I'll be happy!0

Hello everyone
I am returning to the money saving expert forums after several years, so am to all intents and purposes a newcomer! Certainly new to the weekly fly lady thread.
I find it really hard to keep up with my housework - but I think the lists on this forum will really, really help. Even I can follow a list. The added bonus is that a lot of it will fit into advert breaks - which is when I get most of my housework done at the moment. I am clearly going to have to dedicate more time to it that though, especially if I want to tackle the monstrous dust bunnies that are lurking in every corner and around every furniture leg!
I did the master bedroom day last Friday, and am making good progress with the kitchen today:
- cleared and cleaned the surfaces (apart from the kitchen table, which is the central hub of my de-cluttering operations!).
- tackled a hot spot (the recycling boxes!)
- cleaned the microwave
- cleaned the tiles
Still planning to polish the sink, clean the bin and clean the floor (or at least sweep the dust up from around the edges of the floorboards), clean the cooker top, wash the window and identify 5 items to bin / donate.
That will require quite a lot of advert breaks!Trying to take control of my home and belongings!0
