Good morning all. Thank you for this week's list. Just wrote a huge post and my phone decided it needed to turn itself off, grrr. So just a quick post now as need to get some kiddies up.

Loonylamb, sorry to hear about the hamster x

I haven't managed much at all over the weekend, ds2 is still poorly and ds1 now saying he feels sick. Can't wait to get stuck into the kitchen today. It definitely needs it.

May just go and see if WHsniffs have the Marie Kondo book in as can't wait months to borrow it from the library and feel it will be a keeper!!

Hugs to all that are poorly/ have poorly rellies.

Very excited as we heard from the Canadian friends we made on our cruise last year and are planning to meet up later this summer! Sure it is down to decluttering/ kondoing - allowing room for good things to come in!

    Morning everyone

Hope he doesnt take it too hard loonylamb.

Late up this morning! Its pouring down so hopefully OH wont be in a rush to get started and will do the dishwasher and breakfast pots.

We have a visit from a local charity that supports disabled kids this afternoon. I am really hoping that they can offer DS some support - he is really down at the moment and I am worried about him, its affecting everyone else too.

Other than that some paperwork to do for OH and the kitchen needs attention!

But paid stuff first, better get moving. Have a good Monday everyone x

    Morning all
Thanks for the lists natty and bossy
Welcome loonylamb, sorry to hear about hammy, they can hibernate but it's not really the tone of year for that. Keep him somewhere warm as see what happens during the day. (Admission time here, I've brought a hamster back by spending a morning with one tucked inside my tee shirt. When we were kids we lost hamsters every winter as mum thought they'd died our house was freezing! When mum read they hibernated she put the latest poor hammy near the pilot light of the stove and within an hour it was running round again. So After that I've always gone for warming before giving up.)

Busy all day today so will be catching up with the kitchen later.

Hugs good wishes and posi vibes to all who need them. Have a good day.

Morning all. I'm in again, thanks for the list Bossy. Sorry to hear about pet situations and other things. Hugs/congratulations etc where needed.

Its our 30th anniversary today. We did all our celebrating at the weekend so today its back to paid stuff and being a flylady!

Its pouring with rain here too this morning so no dog walk yet. I've dusted the dusty bits in the LR and done a quick hoover through the house so far.

    Next to the list.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning all. Well my idea of spending the day doing the garden seems to be out the window by the look of the sky :( Just checked the weather on my phone seems to be rain for most of the week
I'm waiting to hear from DD1, who is currently still at the boyfriend's. She was going to help with the garden, need to find out what else she'd be willing to help with now.
I have an airer full of washing, a basket waiting for me to set the other airer up and I just put a load of towels on (I'll TD them) I don't want to set the airer up til I've done jobs in the kitchen as there'll be no room to move other wise.

Must - do - Monday: kitchen and dining room
    Level 1

Clear some counter space / table top and wipe down
    Sort a hotspot
    Level 2
    Clean the microwave!
    Give your sink a polish
Where is the mop brigade? Clean that floor!
    Level 3
Does your cooker hood need attention?
    Wash a window
    Wipe tiles / splashbacks
    Extras:
    • Do you need to test your smoke alarms?
    • Does your bin need a wash?
    • Is your post up to date?
    • Find 5 things to fling from the kitchen junk drawer :)
