  • Hello everyone. Sorry been mia but busy, busy and back is still crook. I am now covered in blue tape!

Hugs CY, thinking of you. GWS vibes to Natty.
Well done on job Charlie and on the fundraising FFP.

Did extra shift in ch shop yesterday to cover busy lunch time - selling raffle tickets - I hate it but am apparently good at it.

Just bought the Marie Kondo book so DH can say he has bought me a present for my big 0 birthday - but have almost finished it already! Am off to recheck all that I have done so far and then need to get on with komono.
Tomorrow I am at the museum and then we need to go to Mr T and MnS to return some stuff and get replacements - or I may order online before vchr runs out.

Have a good evening everyone and a good B Hol - hope the weather improves. x

    Hi everyone x
I conked out last night early then was back up at 2 this morning. I did manage to get back to sleep eventually but I was like a half shut knife when it was time to get up.
I did 1 x WM, 2 x TD, washed up and run round with the Hoover before we went to church and sorted DS1 out before he left for Germany.
Had a house full after church as DS2 got baptized today so plenty of family and a few friends. Everyone has left now so I'm back in my jammies eating the leftover buffet.

OH has the day off tomorrow so I have told him we are clearing and cleaning our bedroom. It's a riot and I'm determined to get it done AND at least do the walk in cupboard as well. If we have time all the wardrobes are getting done too. I can see many trips to the recycling centre tomorrow.

Off to chill out for a while if I can keep my eyes open long enough.

Aww, my babies are home and asleep :A they have eaten, pooped, and gone to bed, lol. They are 4 and 6 haha. TMI...

Just looking at the price of London Tour buses - OMG! £65 for two adults and a kiddie - that's with an online discount!!! This is one of the hop on - hop off ones and includes guided walks and a river cruise. Still, I suppose their train fares were free.

I've decluttered 2 kitchen cupboards- and put all our drinks together - I have 5 cartons of UHT milk to use up, 3 of almond milk and 6 bottles of squash on the go! Our mission this week is to drink lots, haha.

Our household waste centre is open tomorrow, I need to find my permit and we'll get rid of some bits. Also have some Freegle-ables in the form of old curtains and poles.

Right, shopping due to arrive in the next hour, then I'm off to Bedfordshire! Yawn.

    Evening all
Been at cricket all day and after a late night I'm shattered.

I've put the washing on the maiden and DS1 has loaded and set the WM with the cricket whites.

Hope to be more productive tomorrow.

the weather looked a bit cloudy this am so we went to the county show in the car not on the bike. Had a good day wandering round and didn't buy much, which was good. Mega willpower needed when we took one more swing through the food marquee checking for 'tasters' - they had all huge pastries reduced to £1 but nothing without wheat:(

Got home and after a restorative cuppa and snooze in the conservatory, went into the garden and managed to do 3 more tasks off the list. Think we'll have to walk round and make a new list tomorrow, as it certainly made us focus and actually finish stuff.

Friend rang this eve, she'd been contacted about being a ref for the work I've applied for. Strange form - no questions about my performance or characteristics; just "would you employ this person again?" and "why did they leave their past job?". I'm surprised they are checking refs when the interview isn't till 2nd June, not that I mind.

Bit more tidying up of report, then bed for me.

Evening all! Late with my update today! Almost killed myself on my 10k, knocked over three minutes off the time I did a couple of weeks ago. Someone was pacing me round but at 7k I had to let him go as I just couldn't stick with him! Was really chuffed and then ate cake and chocolate afterwards to celebrate and get some sugar in me!
After that we just had a moochy day. Snuggles on the sofa with kiddies and then they played with the. Scaletrix. We all had daytime baths and showers too getting into our onesies and pjs at 2pm!!M
Flying wise I have now kondoed hubby's drawers and given him some mOre space. Just need to do the warderobe next and his socks!
Bedroom is still a pit! But kitchen and living room have been given a quick once over and managed to do one load of washing! Hubby is out all day tomorrow so not sure what the plans are yet!

Bossy - are you going by train then look at the Days Out in London Guide you can often get two for price of one on things like that if you are travelling into London by train. we got two for one in the Tower of London and it was a huge saving. x
