Well my tombola stall raised £ 413.15 for Make a Wish Foundation UK.
I'm chuffed to bits that's more than double what we raised last year.

Fabulous news - well done Funfairprincess

Wet today and we are going to a BBQ this pm! I managed a quick visit to garden centre yday and got a bargain and have repotted my orchid - hope it survives!

So far lazy morning - going to fly the rest of the day till the BBQ . I joined this thread last week and Im really enjoying it - it motivates me as tbh i lose the will quickly when the house is relatively tidy one day and then looks like a bomb has hit the next - but we are all adults in here haha !!

11 items thrown on ebeast.. including all my Pandora charms.. I hate those bracelets.. FLING! It has taken 2 hours to get TL updated and do the pictures and list them... I have about another 2 billion things to list.. I NEED about £80,000 so thought I'd start with the obvious stuff to fling. You never know I might actually be able to afford the solicitor to get KH's name dragged through the dirt with regard to the girls living with him! .. the thought actually gives me palpitations!!

Off to find some food and a cuppa. Then I need to go and fling some crap in my room.. might get some more listed later.. 35 things on so far!

Have washing on line. Just de cluttered DS to his new job in steel city. Apparently house opposite is owned by a certain j. Cocker of pulp fame.

Phew, I'm bushed. I might close my eyes for 10min... ;)

I've emptied the spare room of decorating tat, and put the old carpet in the porch for a tip run this week. I've collected all the laundry and hung some washed towels up - I have a mammoth ironing pile <yuck>. DDs room is just about habitable but I can't move the spare bed back until Wednesday when the carpet is fitted.

Also popped out to sp0rts direct to look at rucksacks, found DS a reasonable one for camping that is not too big for him to carry. Got myself a slightly bigger one but in boy colours so DS can grow into it :)

Then went to M@talan as I wanted some cheap jeans - I appear to have an unsightly hole in mine, I know ripped jeans are de mode but not at my age, lol.

So ££s decluttered, need to look at my budget as I have the carpet to pay for this week and I'm hoping to buy the spare bed a new mattress and headboard if I can stretch to it without dipping into my garden budget.

Rather a lot to think about for June. Including my birthday - it's a milestone one and my mum has said to choose something special. I've found a ring i really love and she's going to give me some money towards it - so I need to order that too. I've also asked her to tell my brother not to send me spa vouchers. As ungrateful as it sounds, they won't get used and he still sends them just because it's something his wife would like :( here's hoping he'll listen for once...

Anyway, going to have a rest before kiddies home, I'm soooo tired!

Pigpen, (((hugs))) for Tiddles and Squeak. Any adult who poisons children's mind is a total KH, so good luck with whatever it is you have to do to help all your children to be happy.

Trying to catch up with house flying so that when the people arrive this evening/tomorrow or Tuesday their first impression won't be, 'What a pit.' It's taking some doing but the kitchen's straight, the dining room's nearly there, the sitting room will do. Lovely Lodger is going to do the shower room and her bedroom turnaround prior to moving up to my office for a couple of nights before going home to Sardinia for her father's birthday, which is conveniently timed for while we are quadruple booked. Quart into a pint pot time here for the next few weeks.

OH played with the new-to-us stick dy$0n yesterday and fixed its bracket to the kitchen wall in a little alcovey bit, so with any luck he'll use his initiative and play with it when the middle layer needs attention. I live in a fantasy world, don't I?

Pacing myself with 1864 on iplayer, dog walks and pesky Devil Cat attention because I still haven't caught up with myself from the chalet spring clean.
    Better is good enough.

Bossy thats exactly what happens with my brother and his wife. I have a £30 beauty salon voucher unused in my desk drawer which makes me feel guilty every time I see it.

Taken DS2 to cricket and a then a little bit of shopping. Major traumas here because one of his Xbox games has stopped working and we took it to a shop to be repaired but it didnt work apparently. And DS1 has texted me to say that he is having a rubbish time fishing with his Dad. Can see its not going to be a happy camp here this evening.

Need to take the dog out and not sure whether to make any tea or not. Not sure who will want feeding.

Right, best not sit down for too long.
