Morning! charlieyates well done. You should definitely do it, the confidence it will give you will be a massive boost, I was in a very similar situation to you having been a full time carer. And who knows what it might lead to?

Not out of bed yet. More decluttering today. OH and DS1 are still tackling the shed and greenhouse. Time to get the kettle on I think.

    Morning flyladies.

CY - hugs for you. Remember I'm really close by if there is anything you need.

Charlieyates - well done on the job

Hugs/congrats etc to anyone I've missed.

So far today, I've cleaned the fridge, made bottom of the fridge soup, and fruit salad, quickly hoovered downstairs, put yesterday's washing on the line and S&S the kitchen.

Time to get dressed, walk the dogs and get out in the garden.

    Have a great day everyone.

I've decided to get rid of my pocket dragons. I don't know whether to ebay/gumtree them individually or just sell them as a job lot or what to do.

Personally I'd sell them individually, some are more popular than others (I collect ;) )

    :coffee:Charlieyates well done.

Mr N and friend have decluttered themselves up to the Duxford air show on 'bikes but it has clouded over and is now drizzling here so I hope they see some flying.

I've kondo'd my t shirt drawer and undies drawer. Quite impressed I can now see everything. What triggered it was that although I've been folding clean washing "correctly", I haven't had time to do whole drawers full; however, I've got to go into town to tip, supermarket and charity shop so it seemed sensible to at least try and add a bit more to the cs bag. Much to my surprise, I have managed to say goodbye to 2 t shirts which satisfied the "bring me joy" but came with the extra "will bring you joy when you are the right shape to wear them". Realised I've been saying that for years and sadly I must accept that I am not going to achieve the balance of age and shape which would do them justice!!!! Sounds a bit melodramatic for a couple of t shirts - but I can now happily think how much joy they may give a younger, sleeker person............

So just having a :coffee: then the plan is to write a bit more of a report, then hit the town.

Don't know what the weather is going to do tomorrow, we've planned the Hertfordshire county show.

And without seeming indelicate, has anyone worked out how to kondo thongs? Macrame anyone? I've put them all in one of those net bags that I use to separate stuff on holiday, think they are intended for washing delicates. I have no intention of googling 'folding thongs' for fear of what I might get........:rotfl:
