Yes your right it seems that way doesn't it?

All this compensation they are having to pay out must be doing damage to their business.If only Welcome had played fair in the first place.I have no sympathy for them at all!

Hi Guys, recently found the forum and registered today, sent a letter to MBNA as I had a Virgin Credit card for 2 years paying paymet protection on this the whole time, I wrote them a letter on the 31 July and today had a phone call offering me GBP200 back? Firstly I was shocked that I got a call back so quickly and second I took the money. Now, I know now maybe I should of waited and argued with thewm a little more but there were investigating on the phone with me what had happened with the phone call when they sold it to me and i was making it up as was nearly two years ago? I have now sent letters to my Nationwide current account for charges back and also PPI for two nationwide loans I had over the last 4 years, hopefully I will get that back too?

Happy days, so glad I got some money back and all because of this forum, thanks guys!

i have just won with welcome finance had letter from fos but not sure how to work out how much i am getting it doesnt say how do i know if they are ripping me off

When Welcome settle your claim you will get a breakdown of the money you have reclaimed.Check this against your paperwork if you still have it,if not phone Welcome and ask for a copy.There maybe someone on here who knows more than me about this?

Hi there I agree with Selecta, ask them to send you a full written breakdown of calculations, good luck and well done.;)
The FOS seem to check the figures now as well.

quick question has anyone out there had phone calls from the fos with regards to any ppi claims , not sure if its just routine or not ?

Its known to happen.
I have never received a call by telephone, but email only to what I can recall.
Have you had a call or a missed call perhaps?

no i had a phone call the other day off the gentleman dealing with my complaint just check a few details ?
